Good idea, to say the least.  But I don't think anyone would use it...

EDIT: Now that's a workshop :o

I get this, it makes perfect sense.

It's like lego's to a point. Build your own gun!

This is neat, Im playing around with it in p-shop and it's pretty fun.

Its an interresting idea, original i admit.

However, from what i can see, all it does is change the interface image.
It doesnt change the actual game-gun does it?

If you are good at creating mod-loaders, you could make a program that allows u to select gun-parts and generate both interface graphics and gun-graphics to go with it!

Im no 'tech' guy for mod programs, but if u could get somebody to produce a program for that, then u might have more demand! Good luck mate!  :P

Deadeye Rob, I think you're being a little bit lazy. I know dat you made the mod "Warhammer 40K" so why don't you make you're own in-game graphics ? If the program had dat function it would be easier, but since it don't have...
Title: Re: Weapon Customisation Kit

Deadeye Rob didn't make this,I did.
Title: Re: Weapon Customisation Kit
Post by: Deadeye Rob on July 17, 2006, 06:42:26 am
Hes saying i made the Warhammer 40k mod!

Anyways Andro!d, Basicly what i see is a quick interface maker, it is very good i admit, but what is the use of an interface without the ingame graphics?

This idea looked to me as if it was aimed at novice modders, Most modders can make a working interface image because it only appears on the menu.

where as game graphics are a few pixels, during modding i found that if u make the game graphics just a pixel too long, it can ruin the look and feel of the weapon. So i suggested adding a program to take the users choice of component and make it part of the actual gun in game!

I didn't say anything...read it. I just wrote It's awesome idea. But not to grab all my work ... u should add some of ur own work here. I don't wanna see parts of my hard-work everwhere.

And U don't even have a permision.

And have on mind I was hard working on those guns...a lot of time wasted ....

Will, Real Deal and Dairy;
How do you feel know dat Everybody is using the weapon customisation kit in they're mods ? And one more question: Who should we credit in our mods 4 dis lovely work, Should we credit Will, Real Deal or Dairy; the three of you or just one ?  ???

Of course you should give Dairy credits. Don't mimic this (http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=3032.0) loser, who gets praise for using Dairy's parts, but gives no credit.

Start doing some original sprites.

Also, I think it's going to suck to see Dairy's work raped and put into mods all over the fucking place, and judging by how *some* people have used this sheet, they aren't even going to credit dairy.

EDIT:It was actually an accident I hit y. Also, this topic was reposted in after a *significant* amount of time, and nothing of that?

And yes, I did have to use "all those" bad words.

Start doing some original sprites.

Do you have to use all those bad words, just to say that you don't like the idea of people using the W.C.K in they're mods ?! I am sure that you asked sum moderator to say that.

You know, this is a pretty neat idea, even if there aren't many options right now and most of them are apparently stolen. It would be nice if a larger, more legit version was released.

This is awsome...i might start using this for my interface gfx now. It would be even nicer if theres was a wider range of parts to choose from.
