Alright. How should I start ? This is my mod baby - 1st time Im releasing something full for soldat. Heh. Whatever this mod is based on FPS game Battlefield 2 (so obvious) and the main plan was to make full set of weapons from BF2 for soldat. But the idea grew and when I recognised I had much more weapons than I planed.

What this mod contains:
-fully modded 63 weapons (sounds,interface,in-game weps)
-new interface
-new sparks-gfx (+explosion)
-new gostek
-powerup boxes
-new misc. sounds

Nice mod. Detail, Shading, and Variety... Just what I like in a mod. I give it a 4/5 due to lack of a WM but who would want to do that? Only a great Mod Maker would go through that trouble and your just below great. Good job and hope to see more.

niiice moood!!! ;D;D Psycho showed me the beta version he got from u and i've been using that for a pretty long time until i found soldat enhanced, but now as the fullversion is out i think i might test it ;D;D it looks soo good ^^

I knew there is somebody a traitor, because when I looked on download rating there were 6 downloads and sended the beta to two people. : ) But that doesnt matter.


Okay guys, thanks a lot. Honestly without PaFel I couldnt do this mod... and If I would somewhat do it would take long time.

One more thing, I see just nice replies and mostly high ratings.... lawl, why I got 2 stars ?

 The FN2000 weapon-gfx is so strange ingame....
 Why Scar-L/H on 9 slot (maybe PaFel can explain it to me?) :P

Both ? ...okay Ill do it in version 1.1. But Pafcio, my dear friend, please please explosion. :) And the SCARs will be optionable. I mean, Both for steyr and both for Minime. Is it okay ?

Hmpf, it doesn't work for me at all. I'm having it installed and all, I run the bf2 config exe thing, choose Apply, then Play, but ingame, nothing's changed.

UNPACK everything right into soldat. Start the config, apply, close the config, then start mod config and choose BATTLEFIELD 2 mod and push start. IT should work.

Ok , Ill do it that way, but guys , I like you so please keep this topic clean from off topic. I know it IS Battlefield 2 topic but Battlefield 2 soldat mod.

Btw - Pafel, are you able to make for me that picture where weapons are added into those boxes for example : AKs replacement : and in the box there are weapons supposed for AK place. I hope you understand.

SCAR-L = AUG = 5.56 mm NATO
SCAR-H = AK = 7.62 mm NATO

I cant get it to work, i extracted all the files from the archive and started Battlefield2.exe, i chosed the weapons and pressed "Apply" then i started the game via the configure, started a game and it was just like the old soldat. I also tryed running the bat, same result. I tryed this with serveral other mods that ran on a configure too -.-

Okay, the instal and use tutorial:

-download the file
-instal/unrar everything into soldat folder (ex. C:\Soldat)
-start the config
-choose your favorite weapons
-click apply

There are two ways of play this mod:

1) after the previous orders after the APPLY click on START
-the game should automaticly pop up and just play

OR

2) click on soldat MOD config there you can choose the BATTLEFIELD 2 mod and start it.
-the game should automaticly pop up and just play

If it isnt still working I just dont know what went wrong. If somebody else can write you better manual they/he should do.



By the way the Battlefield 1.1v is on the way.

How come ? Just try the 1st download , its from FileFront.

Dont worry , after it hit 1000 downloads Ill try to release a 1.1v with PNG supported weapons and maybe with some cliche (or how its spelled).

Ive got too little time so I dont know when I release it. Just look into other topics of mine in meantime or just search for other better and awesome mods around here.

Very nice mod 8/10
But i have 2 small notes:
1) The sound of the USATP_PREDATOR doesn't have the same sound as from the one in BF2. The sound it should have is used for the CHGR_ERYX5. Switch them?
2) The colored normal nade's look ugly ingame, too dark

I love the mod! 10/10! Probably because I love BF2 too...
I dl'ed your mod.. and i have just two comments...
-when i played the mod, some of the weapon's flash isn't alligned to the weapon, and
-the G36E has aiming issues (the weapon is alligned lower than the crosshair)

Thanks to all for nice replies and for constructive critism. I'm glad people like it. [pigtail]

I'll try to fix everything, add some more dual pistols and search for some pictures of more weapons... I mean another expansion packs. I mean, Ive heard the Brother...something is already out so I could try to search for it.

The next version with fixes, additions and with some more graphic (I'm thinking about PNG support for this mod too -I've already started and almost half of them is done in PNG too) will come out after the Battlefield 2 reach the 1000x downloads. Im not that far from it but It will take some time so in meantime I try to work on it.

P.S.: The 1st page has to be remade.

it didnt work for me when i dled and i did apply thingy with weps i want it didnt do anything and when i played it i only had the kit thingys for like heal and stuff
 and no weps from mod just norm weps D: i messed it up i think D:

Uhm it's in your Mods Folder? Try starting Soldat with Mod Stater and selecting the appropriate mod.

And learn to read, geesh!

uhh, Got another problem, when I try to change the currently modded weapons Im using, it says that ur settings have been applied bla bla bla, but when I start soldat, the weapons remain, any solution?

How you start soldat? Use Mod starter and i think it will work

I use the mod starter, but the problem is that I cant change the modded weapons
EXAMPLE
Im using
1 double baghiras
2 g36c
3ak47u
4FN52000
and you know, but I want other weapons and I can't
And I cant play with the mod gostek

I realy wan't to download this mod, but th FileFront link doesn't work (a least with me), and the other one (Soldatfiles) may be a broken link, 'cause it doesn't work...

can you fix this or make another link, guy?

solution for those who couldnt download
i tried only with DAP so dont know if it will work with other download managers:
1. open DAP
2. press ADD
3. copy the URL to the small window in there
4. it should start downloading

Falipegoes, you need to extract the files on soldat folder not on Soldat/mods, and if what you mean is that the program don't runs the mod, use soldat mod starter

/Soldat i Think, all config Programs are like that, i have Fiel marshall's Spec-Ops Mod, in another folder and it works well

This is a great mod with lots of nice weapons. A lot of content, and it's well made. However I do have a few gripes with it...

The interface menu background doesn't look great, it's kind of an eyesore actually.

The Chaingun could use some sounds...

Most of the sounds are great, especially the weapon sounds. But there are a small number of sounds which I deem annoying. For instance, the "go, go, go!" voice that plays when someone spawns. That gets very tiresome after a while, especially in a busy game... and at the beginning of maps/rounds when everybody spawns at the same time Soldat plays them simultaneously, which makes it undesirably loud. The "I need a medic here" is also a little annoying which plays each time you die and the sound when you fall/hit a wall is very annoying, that "ow!" which plays almost continuously if you or anyone else is run-jumping through the map (fall-hard.wav)

I feel the mod could have been packaged better. The readme merely brushes over installation, it doesn't mention that the mod does not run from the configurator for instance and that you must configure it and then run it from mod starter.

Textures/objects directory does work under the mod directory but this mod installs the objects to the soldat directory, same for sparks-gfx which is a shame, I manually installed those into the mods directory, the interface-gfx folder included has a typo (it reads as "inteface-gfx")

Everything else is great though!

The Gosteks Wont Work for  Me. I Have Reinstalled Many Times, And Then Put The Files In And Still No Gosteks. The Weapons And Sounds Work, but No New Character. :(

How do you install the new suit's for the bot's? I can't do it somehow. The mod work's fine with the weapon's and all, it's just the suit's that are the problem.
