Title: bots stop when ur 200-300m. away from them

i kept thinking why bots stop when i'm 200-300m. away from them when i'm carrying a barret and then when i swap it with my secondary they will now move close to me

P.s in the game bots are carrying only knives

Yeah, like Boogie Man. Equip certain weapons and they usually stop charging at you for some coding reason...

In most cases, it's when you're using a weapon that's most dangerous at said range -- the knife, chainsaw, or your bare fists. Why the Barrett? Er... Iunno.

i've use  Barret co'z i do like practice shooting w/ a sniper.....that map is Lagrange i like it coz "no flying"...but the prob is the bots carrying knfe and chainsaw stop charging at you when ur camping then change it on ur secondary they'll charge at you

can this be changed?

Put their AI to stupid or poor, if I remember correctly.

Moral of the story don't camp bots, they're too clever for you.

Actually its a misconception to say that they're not moving. This bug when you use bare fists, barret, ruger and saw (as far as I know).

Do you know that the bots will still move, but they only move vertically?

Try this:

Get a map like inf_zomcano (its one of the maps in Toumaz's Zombie CTF server). Even if you carry a ruger, barret etc, the Zombies WILL still charge down towards you from top to bottom for some reason. When you go above zombies, they will also fly upwards to try and stop you, but they never move horizontally.
