HI! - Star Wars mod! ...
Heres the mod so far in a big fat picture :) -

Mod Includes:
Battle Droid gostek -for Alpha Team-
Havent decided what to do instead of blood for the droids yet.
-AND 4 different types of battle droid bots to play around with as seen in the screenshots.
Clone trooper Gostek -for beta team-
-AND 4 different types of Clone trooper bots as seen in the screenshots.

More gosteks in the making!! -suggestions???-
WEAPONS: Ive only done a few and there are no interface pics yet but bear with me im getting on it. (WOOPS! I left in some Red Faction interface pics... dont mind those.)
Ak-74 - now the Battle droid blaster rifle
Steyr AUG - Wookie Bowcaster (separate download)
Ruger-77 - Clone sharpshooter rifle/ALSO the Tusken Rifle (seperate download)
M79 - Radiation launcher
Barret - rail driver (its from my unreleased Red Faction mod...)
M249 - Clone blaster rifle
Minigun - totally changed - now the thermal detonator launcher, hold down to shoot a grenade (works despite what people say)
Socom - The pistol that has the little scope
M2 - like the stationarly gun in the game (not great tbh)
-I don't really know what other weapons to do...
I guess I could make some to match with the other gosteks I'm gonna make - suggestions! -
-All firing sounds for these guns have changed and some reload sounds
HOWEVER they are not proper Star Wars sounds, they were the best I could find and make but do sound pretty cool.
I don't know how to get the proper sounds...
The cool explosion ISN'T MINE it was made by 'Abortion' (I will be making one though)
Some other things in there might be snippets from other mods that I left in without noticing
Does anyone know if you can change automatic guns to fire semi-automatic?

ER.. I'll be updating this obviously I'll have a go at some S.W.Battlefront maps. Thats if i can understand polyworks :S old map maker was so much easier. Open to suggestions of course.

I need some suggestions for more gosteks.
And suggestions on how to make it complete ie\\ more weapons etc
I'm making a Gamorrean, one of those pig guards in Jabbas Hut (ha)
EDIT: ok gamorrean was kinda a bad idea its hard to make the gostes look real fat :/

I'm not great at making interface guns + I've never bothered to do them cos I don't really care about them.
I guess I'll have to give it a go :P
p.s. Is anyone getting the wookie gostek picture to load on theirs?
I'm getting kinda impatient I need some feedback on what to do to it ???

well, i can't give you feedback, since i have downloaded but ill give you some praise: Wow, This mod flippin roxorz my soxorz. No lie this is a sweet mod for all the starwars fans on soldat. A+++++++++
EDIT: For battle droids, instead of blodd maybe like blue sparks or something? or yellow? just thinking

Hoth would be good. Bravo with white flag in ship centre place, Alpha with shield thigny. Play star wars battlefront, to understand me.
Cloud city! Omfg! please make this! Please make those cool tunnel for inf! Imagine running to the flag throgh those cool tunnel. Ofcourse, you can jump onto of them. Also get some ramps to some snipe points to give the cloud city effect.
If you have these already...let me know.

Well, I'm making Theed now. Very nice mod. Haven't tried it out yet.
Could you try sticking it in one of those unpackers, where you can easily switch between gosteks and such.

I'm not advanced enough to do that :P I've only recently come back into Soldat after nearly a year.
No idea where to start...

Ask Ivan someone, Field Marshal knows him, Ivan made the configurator for BF's mods.

Don't divide the whole MOD! Just make a one big pack.

Very, very nice. I realy like the droid gostek, too!
As a gostek sugesstion, how about Jawa's and Gungan's? They may not be easy, but they'd look cool.
EDIT: in Battlefront II, Jawa's had a weapon similar to the Dark Trooper's Arc Caster, make that their weapon.

Gungans wouldnt be possible apparently. Something to do with the ears.
jawas might be too big, but worth a try i recon!

Gostek suggestions: Imperial Stormtroopers (of course!), TIE pilots (don't bother to make them short ;) ), Rebel soldiers, Rebel pilots, Bith (the guys from Cantina Band known as the "Modal Nodes", from Ep IV), Rodians (of course!; the Greedo guy from Ep IV is an example), Duros... Well, just a couple of suggestions.
Also, would be nice if you worked on various weapons from the SW world. Two thumbs up!

I really want the New Jedi Order characters.
Yuuzhan Vong mainly, with their weapons.
Killiks would be cool, but hard to make as they are insects.

Yuuzan vong is a good idea, but would it work in soldat? You have to really look it from the front to see all its mouthy little bit thingies.

I've already made stormies and tie pilots. but they are not entirely finished I'll give em to you when I've finished their weps too. unless you can't wait. ;D

I was focussing at the moment on battlefront stuff at the moment but I'll do that too ;D

If you can get a configurator I will gladly help you with the New Jedi Order. The hard bit with Yuuzhan Vong would be that they are all different and that people imagine them as different colours (I ithnk dark brown and black 'cause of the dried blood)

If possible, make some jedis. Such as:
Jedi.
Sith.
Dark Jedis.
I would love to have a lightsaber, a one hit kill. Also make a blaster pistol as there secondary weapon.

Knife: lightsaber (WOOT)
Usocom:Blaster pistol(2 for DES)
Ak:blaster rifle
Barret:laser sniper(sniper line turns red for infared aiming)
Law:force push
grenade: thermal detnotor
m79: Thermal detnator laucher
Ruger:Force mind trick(changes team to emey for 10 secs, but problem is all 4 teams... ill think of that
Notes: if u dont know sw batle front has rocket laucher.. that could be law

well,as the start menu has the team option, you could link the ruger attack with it to change the team automaclily when you get shot and the link will be like a link that sends you to your email to emial someone, but it will not be html and it could not be seen or atviated without being shot by force mind trick, but you would respwn at your temp base though

i still dont think its possible. And even if it was it would be extremely hard to do.
After all the mod isnt based around Jedis. ;)

Yeah, dont do lightsabers, just make the knife a vibroknife and the chainsaw a vibrosword.

But the gostex are awesome. Good work anyway..
Why dont you make A good jedi/dark jedi, Darth Maul, Emperor, Darth vader gostechs.

If I can be bothered I'll make some thud and razor bugs with their weapons.ini mods.
Ooooooh... Blorash jelly. One shot, it makes their crosshair HUGE!

IMPORTANT: VULBASTICKS COMPUTER C DRIVE HAS BEEN BUSTED, AND ALL HIS FILES HAVE BEEN LOST. UNTILL HE LETS A PROFESSIONAL TRY TO RECOVER THESE FILES, NO MORE WORK OR UPDATES WILL BE MADE!!

Just downloaded .The gosteks are bloody beutiful :) You should definetly do some interface weaps even if you are having trouble Im sure some one is wiling to give it a try. Maybe make chalie and delta into the wookies and tusken raiders if that is possible. I might try my hand at making the Platform level as it ismy favourite bf level. Keep it up!

By the way Scrooge, you can't edit Charlie and Delta teams. Charlie uses Alpha gosteks and Delta uses Bravo's gosteks.
Damn, that anooying about the C: drive.

if its windows problem just reformat it and redownload your own mod...but i doubt u would make a mistake like this. anyways best of luck to you.

I tried to dowload that mod, and also the gosteks tusken and wookie, but I always get something like this: ERROR: Invalid file ID: 481678.
The ID changes from a file to another, that's the ID of the mod download.

This is an incredible mod, but sadly Vulbastick has dissapeared for a while.
I'll get in contact with him, i think he lost the mod off his hard drive!

Not a huge starwars fan, but that droid gostek looks great. Very creative, and amazingly well done.
