i had a great idea =D
{at leat i thought so...}
how about making soldat for NINTENDO DS ;D
i think this would make a great game, and if u would take a max. 8 multiplayer with the wifi options availlable this could be played worldwide vs worldwide.. =D
the touch screen could be used for weapon selecting and targeting and the top screen for blasting everyone =D
I just wanted to know how u guys think about it and, is this possible ?

It's never going to happen.
Although still being worked on by some people, the author of Soldat has moved on to making new games Link-Dead and Berserker. He's looking into having a version of Link-Dead ported to Xbox 360.
Soldat will most likely never be ported to any console platform and wouldn't become popular on that console if it did.

Em. Soldat has problems running on computers that have 533Mhz, 64MB RAM and you think that the DS with its 4MB RAM(expansion slot) and a 97MHz/66MHz(?) processor can run it?
as stated: NO!

It would be interesting... imagine moving with the directional pad with your left hand, aiming with the stylus with your right and and then pressing the fire and jet buttons (a+b) with your third hand.... wait a minute.
Draw a big circle with the stylus to view the scores?
Give up.

Yeah, I heard better ideas like it being ported to a Mac.
