Title: Taser Gun

I think a taser gun would be a cool secondary. What do u think?

EDIT: However, when thinking about the idea of what a tazergun could do, I sort of picture some kind of paralyzing effect. This holds some potential, if you ask me. Perhaps a grenade that would paralyze enemies standing very near it for 2 or 3 seconds. I dunno,...

What would it do exactly?  It's kind of pointless to tazer someone when you can use the knife or saw and just kill them.

it would create another fun way to kill someone. i think the knife is rather useless... but u dont  see me complainig.

Useless? Are you kiddin' me? It's one of the most effective weapons in the game. It's anything BUT useless.

Wait, you are aware it can be thrown, right?

Don't forget they have tasers that shoot out prongs that can taze you from a distance, but that'd be way too cheap.

It's all about getting used to aiming with it. It's quite deadly then.

Don't forget they have tasers that shoot out prongs that can taze you from a distance, but that'd be way too cheap.

I kinda thought that was the hole idea all along. Otherwise it'd be just like either the saw or the knife.
Anyway, as I said above. Unless this has some kind of paralysing effect, it is completely and utterly useless. If it damages enough to actually make it a prefereble secondary(meaning higher dmg. than socom), it would pretty much ruin the socom. Otherwise you might as well just take the socom, 'cause I imagine it would work somehow alike. Short range and all.

I have a great idea , just mod the socom to shoot slower and have a slover speed and reload time and a huge bink value , that way it would be dunno .... similiar to teh taser effect?

actually it would stun you... on second thought it would really slow down gameplay. but i think i can make this gun. i am curently making a Biohazard mod which will be awesome, it comes with 5 maps, new interface, and of course gosteks and weapons. so far ive got the interface done,and one map  but it needs a better artistic touch. if anybody wants to test then pm me.

There are already 2 melee weapons and 2 shooters for secondary, we dont need a tazer gun.

It could be made effective if it meets the following two standard:

1)Along with Stunning the enemy it would slowly degenerate their health as while. (High voltage.)
2)The electrode should atleast reach out half the screen.

Once those two standards are met, we can fine tune it further. Ex:
1)Once the electrode make contact with the victim, the victim cannot move extending the reach of the electrode.  However he can still move towards the attacker, and he can still shoot but with increased binks.  Movements will also be hindered due to voltage.
2)The taser gun will shoot out the electrode in a fast manner (hard to dodge), however if it misses the taser gun will slowly retract the cord and the user cannot swtich weapon during this period of time.
3)Added possibility that bulletproof vest will nullify the taser guns effect.

If the aboves are met I can see the taser gun used for capturing the EFC, and most importantly, electrocution.

this would be good, but i reckon it takes their health down at a steady but fairly fast rate, so long as you can keep it on them, so say like rolling around or jumping and that sorta stuff shakes it off so bassically the longer its on the more damage it does...

that makes alot of sence, this could be a very fun weapon.
