What ever happened to the NINJA map?
Ya'll remember it? T'was a map with a totally black background and tall dark brown trees and a little lakey thingy. People there were encouraged to use Soldat Skin Color Changer (SSCC) and make themselves totally black. Registered users on top of that could also change the jet color to black. The only weapon there was a knife (and fists. no nades nor powerups). It was really hard to see the enemy but you can tell by the floating knives.
I also remember once wearing all white - like a white ninja. I was everyone's target. (I still won that round hehe)
BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO IT? i haven't seen a single server with that map.

If anyone hosts servers, host this one. Put info about SSCC in the description. I wish this map would come back...

Ahh, I remeber that map. I had a lot of fun with it and I agree, someone please host this map.

If you're talking about the original ninja map, it was just some crappy edit of one of the arena maps (well, technically, the original was just that map with a black background). Er...it got better over time, but it was still crappy.
Either that, or you're talking about the one that was later made with the bridge or two and asian architecture.
I can't tell, though, because the link isn't working for me.
However, the Ninja mode was too awesome to have passed through the bowels of Soldat history, someone should really begin a ninja server with some custom (and small) maps rather than just this one.

In my early years of soldat, before I tried online play, I considered making a map like that, but it would be useless against bots, so I gave up.

Nyet, it's neither map. The mod of arena was actually very fun, the second map...not so much, even though it looked better. This one is just flat, I don't see how it could possibly be more entertaining than those too or even at all.

Every once in a while, I'll start a server with knifes only and get a couple of friends to play. I usually use Blox for the map, just cause' I like it. Never played this Ninja map, but I know knifes only is a blast.

everybody try to join it is called "Chaotic Wolf's Ninja Map" IP 213.202.214.144 you might not be able to join, but we'll see.

uhm, i cannot find nor join your server cw. You're not in the lobby, the IP's don work (i'm assuming default port for the first IP listed). If you really want to host a server you need to leave it on for a while so people can have time looking at your reply. Anyway I hope you'll try to host it again - and hopefully you'll have good connection speed...

that map is awsome, i remember playing it back in the day... it'd be good if some1 hosted it and played it with just the knifes again

If i had the map and I could host i'd probably use it all the time. I'm already all black (skin, jets, clothes, everything) Problem is even If I find the map, I cant host cause I got like 3 firewalls. I can get 2 of em down but family freaks out about viruses and spyware when I go for router so it never appears on lobby or ASE. Nor can ppl join me by IP. I've given up hosting and only play on other's servers now.
