Title: New Update: Soldat Taunt Manager
Post by: David2204 on April 28, 2008, 07:32:49 pm
Ok, today I made an app thats used for managing taunts. I got kinda bored of aTa, coz you hae to copy and paste and thats a waste of time, so I made my own.
The app is really straightforward. You just paste it into you soldat folder and run it.
You load the taunts, edit 'em, save the taunts and you are done. Easy as pie!

*EDIT: Just made a newer new version of it! Try it out!

hmm, looks useful. Seems unique compared to the many other apps that are of the same purpose.

What did you make it with?

BUG ALERT!

When I click '1', and type something in and save it, on the other side of the windows (with all the taunts), in '0:', it will apply what you typed in '1' to '0:'. So because of this, when I click '1', it's actually '0', when I click '2', it's actually '1' (not sure if that is true, just got the app.) This only applies to the numbers, I believe.

Anyway, props for making such a nice taunt editor.

EDIT: Hm, I've just did a little bit of more testing with the taunt editor, it seems that I've verified that clicking '1' IS ACTUALLY '0', and so on. So there is a bug with the clicking of the numbers. There is also a bit of a typo at the 'Manage Taunt' area.
When you click '1', it's actually a '0', same as above with the 'Keyboard'.

I have also thought of an recommendation. At the list of taunts and the 'Keyboard', can you put the '0' after the '9'? I feel that this will not confuse people as much.

Think that clears the bugs I've encountered...

I don't think i should do tat because in the actual taunts file the '0' taunt is placed above '1', not below '9'. I just want it to look just like the taunt file will look after saving ;)

Awesome. It looks great. Would be awesome to see this and other programs intergrated together. Like this with demo viewer, skin changer, etc. Like an all in one program that can change and view about everything. Now that would be a bad ass program. XD Nice work though.
