Tittle says everything.
I really like ArmA, the people that plays it with high resolution say that graphics are better than COD4 ones.
If you are a player that you like tactical online/single player games, that game is perfect for you.
In 2009, is going to be released ArmA II and Operation Flashpoint II, the same day, they are going to be combat simulators like the past ones, but with better graphics and gameplay, like diverse battlegrounds, day-night cycle and a map of 320 km2 and more! more info at www.armaholic.com
ArmA is a really modifiable game, you can add lots of new weapons modded, scripts, missions or islands, there are a lot of them.
As proud player of that game i need to say that is a good experience, and teamplay is one of the most important facts, it makes one of the best games ever

yea it takesĀ awhile to get enough damage bonus points to kill :S

Goldeneye 64, Wolfenstein3D, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, the Doom series, the Quake series, UrbanTerror, Halo 1 & 2, a few more I can't remember atm.

Not really a counter-strike fan and I don't play source, but for CS I like 1.6 best I guess (except for the VERY annoying hostages).
I used to believe GunZ was a good FPS... until I found it boring with all the glitches going on and having no good updates.

True... but GunZ would have been better if there were only a few glitch moves made into actual game moves while the other glitches are gone... and with better balancing and updates. And its too repetitive.
Hmm... I played Battlefield before, don't know which version, it was pretty cool.

I would say Bio Shock(Don't question it, it is my favorite game), Halo 3, COD4, TF2, CS:S, BF2, and I'm guessing Warrock?

I reccomend Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45. Great gameplay and amazing realism makes it the absolute best WW2 game and my favourite FPS.

Stalker sucks in replay value...i hope this wont be in STALKER clear skies.... only reason why i don't play anymore is because you don't have the real 'you can do whatever you want' feeling, the story mode just stays the same everytime you play...

I can't believe nobody yet mentioned...
Unreal. That was an amazing game, you can't deny it. Also quake 2 and half-life were fun. I recently noticed that there are not too many arcade shooters out there now, most of them go for kind of realistic feeling, while forgetting where da fun is at.
