I have decided to make a new mod. This mod will be entirely based on GTA 4. I have just begun and I will be posting all updates here. The first thing that i will be doing is building a Niko Bellic. But i do need a bit of help. I was wondering. Is it possible to make different gosteks for different people? so is it possible to make, for instance, on alpha team, to have u play as Niko, and a bot to look like Roman (complete with pot belly)?

You can only have one gostek for the entire alpha team, and one for the entire bravo team.

No, I don't think you can make seperate player gosteks. You can only have things like a hat, dreadlocks, helmets, stuff like that. You can mod the body gosteks for a whole team. So if you had Bravo team gostek set to Roman, their entire team would be Roman. You should base it on gang members in the game perhaps.

no. i will not post it up. i will only release it when i am completely finished. i may release a beta just before i release the full version. it will only have a few features. wont have gosteks, and wont have the flames (gun shots and jets)

To be fair people shouldn't be able to make threads and then not make any progress.
If I did that every time I had an idea for a mod then I'd have made... *checks Soldat/Mods folder* 13 WIP threads in the last year.
I'd like to see this mod made though, keep working on it.

You mean 'should,' right?
Partial Modifications is the 'real' WIP forum. This is just for discussion [checked with Surf], although oftentimes discussion turns to WIPs, so if everything here was forced to be a WIP, it would be too redundant. However I can see the WIP function being moved here as it would be more natural to go from planning to WIP.
Regardless, I think HT went a bit overboard to threaten JEB about this thread becoming locked 'for lack of progress' [lol wth?] because I know for a definite fact that it won't get locked for that reason. End discussion.

For what it's worth there hasn't exactly been much discussion either. Let's try to turn that around instead of acting the "lone wolf", shall we? Already have one of them around these forums anyhoo.

why dont we just talk about the mod rather than people talking about how people are/aren't going to finish mods etc this seems like an excellent idea as there are a lot of weapons in this game. also speech in the mod would be cool. i think that niko has one of the best voices in gaming. i know how hard modding is tho so try your best mate.
