Title: Happy Ending: Soldat Movie
Post by: decoy. on June 22, 2008, 12:09:10 pm
Happy Ending: A Soldat Movie.

This movie, yet to be [started on], is a general revenge plot which is turned around immensely (here's hoping) due to the involvement of an unlikely hero, the companions, notorious enemies and some all-too-well informed company about the whole situation. As to how it began, that will be revealed duringthe progress of the story.

It is my intend to make full use of what soldat has provided along with the cooperation of a willing cast as well as the aid of some who can help me edit the script in regards to information fed and the plot as well. However there are many obstacles that I have yet to get over. To begin, I cannot recall everything capable as I have not found the freedom to explore the game's attributes fully.

So with testing from volunteers (which I hope will enroll in the cast), some field testing has to be done. Not only will this allow me to see what ideas of mine are possible to convey, it may also grant me the honor of presenting someone with the leading roles.

Questions:
Last words (for the moment, I guess.): It's likely that, if anything, this will be a time consuming project but I will try to do this in bits and pieces, meaning that this movie (or series of episodes, I haven't decided yet) will be made in segments instead of the whole movie. My purpose for that is to ensure some level of better quality for viewing, if it does help. I am not fond of the quality that I've viewed on youtube. But is it possible to get better? In regards to my second topic in this section, I made this one for the purpose of an organized appearance since the previous one is gone to hell (excuse my language). But if either or is to be removed, please let it be the first one. I may be the only one writing the script. But I may need an editor since I'm not the best at the technicalities of my own English language. :-[ And I am uncertain if I should try and form a clan of some sort, the SMC (Stunt Man Clan), for the fun of soldat and such projects, to discuss this among instead of broadcasting to the public. I am only uncertain because, of all my years playing, I have only operated in groups within team play, never a clan per say.

Well I know that it needs work but opinions are welcomed. This is something that I have had in mind and this post is the fullest extent to which I have laid it out, for the first time anyways.

If you still need volunteers, I'll help ;)

Anyway, It's a great idea and I hope you'll persist on making it :).

EDIT: Discarded weapons stay there for +/- 20 secs.

As you might be dedicated to do this, many players who end up volunteering back out. Hence, the 0 for 10+ chances of movies that are choreographed made.

If anything, please take your time to try and do the soldat trailer competition. There are not that many competitors as far as I know, but more entries will optimize the chances of the best possible trailer.

If you need people to be able to have weapons whenever they want, you could try using a server with Fistbox (http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=21592.0). It gives players, among other things, the ability to spawn items (guns and pickups), switch to any weapon, god mode, and the ever popular remote explosives. That might remove some hassle from your process.

I like this idea. We seem to be in the same time zone, so I'll be able to help you. I'm pretty good at Soldat and I'd love to do anything you want me to.

i am ready to help you. Just pm me. I like the idea behind this project. Good luck !
I have 3 and half years soldat experience + i can help you in editting the video(though i have made soldat videos and they sucked, now i have improved)
I can make maps but i am not a pro.
Music is not my side. You can take me in as a choreographer or edittor.
You can also take me in as a model(the one who will perform)
The special server you are in need of, i think i have a good server with a nice script.

I can help you with a server (12 slot, eC - I got two but one isn't really being used so... If you need one, you can use it at any time) and I'm decent at scripting and mapping.

I am glad to see that my request for aid has not gone unnoticed. And earlier this morning I was going through some map checks to see which ones will be useful for the realistic scenes. Unfortunately mid-way I did get a little nauseous (some motion sickness drawn from Gex 3 on Playstation 1 when I was younger maybe). But after waking to feel better, I can say that time was not wasted. I actually came up with an idea for a boxing scene as well as a second zombie scene. The first zombie scene is meant to be visually entrapping, giving the kinds of activity that will be occurring there as nothing but the second main character with a few appearances will be present. And that first zombie scene was pre-planned with a certain type of stage required.

The boxing scene requires someone to be good at boxing as well as a certain stage which I can explain in limited detail. Basically there's one boxing ring, with an elevated stage and ropes like a ring, from which everyone spawns from, just that one point in the center of the ring. There will also be a surrounding area with tables, lights from the ceiling and a bar on one side of the ring to make it look like a second class joint where boxing's often entertainment. Yet only the second main character and several people will be in that ring. The ref who abandons the ring after calling the signal to box, the first challenger, who respawns several times for a recovery of the round, to display the concept of the boxing ring. The meaning behind that scene will act as a moment for a flash back scene in which the second character will be present.

The second zombie scene is actually something quite simple which is also suppose to be visually good. Maybe not as alive as the first zombie scene but still kind of cool. And that second scene requires a bit more dialogue to it as the first one is just for show.

The story will partially deal with weapons development, meaning that not all of the weapons will be visible to begin with. Also given that the main character is not one bread for combat, it's likely that the main character will have to get their hands on a weapon first and its likely a socom. Also ammunition is another key factor in some of the scenes. I won't be too exact with how the choreography should be since detailed direction isn't best for everyone. And as detailed as I try to be, I'm likely to forget due to issues with short term memory too.

Anyway, I'm back to reviewing maps for realism. I'll later post a list among the maps already equipped when the game is first installed and see about the other TW and other maps people made that look realistic (of course credit is due to those who made the additional maps). It's likely that some of the less realistic maps will be made for the virtual reality scenes, like the maps with the apparent floating portions of rock suspended in mid air with either no reasoning to it or thin ropes.

i would like to recommend you something;
i dont know if you have mentioned or have this in mind,
how about a war scene on the TW ?
It can have a name: "soldier's nightmare"
It would depict the life of a soldier who fights till end. It will be recorded in advanced mode.

That's not a bad idea. I can possibly use it for my second zombie scene. It needs to have a dead air about it though for what I have in mind.

Opening

Code: [Select]
Game Mode: Death Match.
Survival Mode: On

[[Screen fades from black to the scene described.]]

Birds chirp the end of daylight away (SFX required) as a short haired gentlemen of a slightly dark complexion, dressed in a warm green jacket and blue jeans, stands at the trunk of a tall autumn leafed tree while admiring the sun set as if tomorrow would change everything. However he does not remain idle only for the view. Anticipation of a very special occasion holds him steadily against the bark. However that very anticipation throws him back into habits he's been encouraged to abandon, for his health and more of all expected company [ alt+1 = smoke ]. Almost breathless by the view, and the newly lit cigarette, he begins to let a moments of contemplation leak from thought.

"One year...three months...and fourteen days. Heh. Not only did I survive working for those bratwursts afterwards and succeed those zealots, I'm to be the luckiest man as of tomorrow." His gaze lowers at the smoking filtered package of tobacco settled before him.

[[Screen to black: Main character's credits fill the scene. Now back to the scene...]]

"Yeah...tomorrow." After those words summoned his resolve to fulfil the last request made of him, he tosses his cigarette aside, with speculation about what he did. A sigh ends the easy moment of contemplation as he begins to walk forward expecting someone. Liesurely distancing himself from the tree, something startles the song birds, once above him, causing them to disperse with the beating of feathered wings fast against the air.

[[Screen to black: The sound of a sniper rifle's shot echoes. Now back to the scene...]]

Already beyond the sight of the tree, before a stone shadowed by the sun, [ prone position ] lies the same man in the tall grass, bloodied and barely able to move. "I..." He struggles to find the breath to speak, pushing himself to keep conscious a little longer for some kind of escape from this twisted turn of events. "I...*huff* can't die like this. I've..." he says as he begins shuffling forward [ in prone position still ]. "Got to live *huff* for her..." He gains five seconds more worth ground before a female figure, in army fatigues with a Barrett strapped to her back and red hair hidden beneath her cap, approached him. Before the other, neither moved. Neither spoke a word for a moment that passed.

As a plea for his life were the intent of what could be his last words, he spoke. "Gale..." but was immediately silenced as she removed her cap [ alt + 3 = cap/hat on/off ], took hold of her riffle and crouched with the hollow tip of the barrel barely touching his head. "WE LOVED YOU!" Her abrupt words stole the moment and enforced silence. Attempting to regain some ground on a day already lost, he spoke. "I...". Yet to no avail, he was interrupted once again as he could not ignore that she reloaded her weapon. "I loved you..." She said.

A still air froze time, of a different type of anticipation. "I loved you t..." Interrupting again, she continued. "How could you betray us Grave. HOW COULD YOU!" Now, more so delirious than what the nervousness of his anticipation left him, he believed that the right words could earn him redemption this very moment. He believed that he was taking advantage of this silence and her uneasiness, causing hesitation in lone index finger, to stall by choosing his words carefully. Unfortunately his judgement was off point. "For us...G" he said.

[[Screen to black: The sound of the last shot fired, with the force of the bullet slicing through his head and ricocheting from the dirt, are as clear as day. The words "Happy Ending" appear in the middle of the screen in white text on cue of the shot fired. Given a second to allow what just happened register, the screen and the words fade for the sound of hard foot prints to sound just as resolute. Now back to the scene...]]

The fresh, bloodied, corpse is abandoned in scene as a visual source, another young lady with [ dreads ]long brown hair and a teal outfit, of a slightly lighter complexion, appears to recognize the corpse's face without hesitation. "Grey?" She said, not knowing what to make of her fiance's corpse. She kneels [ crouch ] by his side immediately after, and the last words, being hers, marked the end of the scene."...No."

[[Screen to black: End of opening scene.]]

when are we going to record this all?
Title: Re: Happy Ending: Soldat Movie

That's a good question. I would like to get the rough draft of the whole script down first, so that complete versions won't have to be waited for and so any changes that can be made will be made mid way. I'd like for this to be enjoyable from the view of those who are involved as well as interesting from a spectator's perspective.

However, I think that an outline of the story will better suffice for now rather than a rough draft, seeing as I don't have the time I would like to have for constructing one fully. So if anything, I'd like to see how this opening scene turns out if anything. This means I would not mind bothering with the intro now. All that's needed aside from the actors of this scene will be the scene itself. In the meantime I'll try to get my hands on a map maker of some sorts because I'd like to know how to become a little more involved than pitching a curve ball of an idea. But if someone could try construct a concept of what I am regarding for the intro then I would greatly appreciate seeing what the outcome is.

Also, aside from this map, I have a specific idea for another major map as well that I would like to begin work on, which is the first zombie scene. It's suppose to be visually active from how I plan to make use of it but details might kind of spoil it. I'll just say that it'll look like hell with the sight of it raining blood (literally) and fire from below. XD

Date Posted: June 26, 2008, 11:06:34 am
Also to mention, while at work, I came up with an idea for a camp fire scene, just to show off the use of animated fire as well. Of course I'm going to try and use an image to cover the fireplace while allow the ground to burn whoever is laying there, thus the person will be covered behind the fire scene. This will be an informative scene in the plot too.

ok ok we need our staff online at the time. Just post the time of recording. i will try to get on at that time/
and the camp fire scene will need a lot of work. If you can wait for 1.5.0 then we will be able to use animated scenery.

Understood. However I was hoping to make use of what is available for the animated scene, just because what I have in mind isn't actually too bad. Kind of like being resourceful before this and that feature was available type of presentation. Now I'd just like to get to a map maker.

I have played over 5 years of soldat, so feel free to contact me if you want an opinion or anything. I love the idea and it's good that you are using /takeoff /smoke and so on.  I might know some funny stuff you don't know about.. So I guess what I'm saying is: Good! do it, finish it.. and if I can help with anything send me a message.

It can be difficult to make good maps,, so maybe you wanna get a mapper if you are not experienced.. I'm sure someone somewhere would help making something.

Now to elaborate a little more on the organizations.

[medikit] Heaven's Cross

A famed hospital first and an organization of medics second. Specializing in the recovery of an individuals health and well being, Cross has invested in numerous markets in order for its organization to prosper and purpose to bare fruit. That purpose was to initiate and influence peace among militant forces and civilians alike. However, with a mysterious new leadership taking charge, the dream is twisted into a horrible realization in questioning the measures that man will take to make things better by definition. The colors have not changed though. White uniforms are the standard. So now it has come to this being the nature of Heaven's Cross;

An organization of medics first and a hospital second.

[Predator] Shadow Ops

"Like a secret police of the people to keep the peace,/
they act as shadows do from the field to the streets./"

The lyrics and lyricist terminated immediately after release. Media publication appears to be the best method of exploitation so no broadcast is made on their behalf. Their funding derives from multiple sources, leaving no one source to determine the mode of their operation. Their ties lie with no icons known. But if seen on duty of a serious matter to be stamped out for good, they are covered in black. Those that act against the will of the shadow ops are silenced in dignity, or at least what they define as the term. As of this story, they are currently involved in a secret war with Heaven's Cross so dire, that leaving a body or two could expose something that neither of them wish to make public.

[vest] The Chess

An efficient authority figure taking the roll of police, this organization is known for their tactical prowess in faltering numerous illegal operations attempting to leach from the economy and its people while committing to other misdeeds. Yet its means of management is for a cause of debate. The Chess is ran by four individuals appointed every four years, consisting two women and two men. One pair for each status and one pair for each color. King and Queen. White and Black. Two separate forces acting upon the divide and conquer method. Black is to defense as white is to offense. And as one would trickle down the chain of command, the reason for debate is the exhaustible pawn, which they are thought of. If they are seen to be of any more value, then they will be promoted accordingly. Yet not every pawn holds true to the values of The Chess, which still remains unknown outside of the organization.

[nades] King

A group who has yet to tie up loose ends, this organization was made in response to the defecation of The Chess's image with the belief that they will certainly lead the people it polices to ruin. Yet unlike the chess, King is a much more unorganized a group, leaving much from its infantile mannerisms to be desired. However, being fresh on the scene to the actions of others does not mean they are without value. Always looking to approach from a different angle, King is governed by the people involved.

"A solid system with a noble cause, to eliminate this country's means of corruption."

Being one of many advertisements, this broadcasts that the group is full of idealist. And other organizations wasted no time propagating the idea. Yet King still manages to retain its nobility through public deeds. At the moment, The Chess welcomes King in the movement against crime and warrants their behavior. Yet a price is always in discussion before their actions can receive justification. The price is mainly for the soul of King, to have it act as a secondary branch of operations for The Chess itself.

[clusters] The Major Clan

This is not really a clan but a laboratory experiment gone wrong, or in another case, right. In the attempt of human cloning for organ transplants by Heaven's Cross's best, for those who's organs began to fail them, one Major, a recent war veteran, has reportedly escaped from the lab where he was being contained. And sense then, Major's means of replication appear to be spontaneous. Yet it is not determined that this individual is indeed a threat or not. The Chess is investigating this matter as well as another. But so far no leads were gained as to who was responsible. And there has been little fortune in sightings of the original Major. There's also word that the veteran exhibited unusual qualities after returning from the war in regards to this mutageneric ability. Yet his identity has not yet been disclosed upon the claim that his records were stolen.

In general, Major is reported missing and the clones hide among the people. Their appearance has also become static and identical by the more than appear.

[flamekit] Ill Luminous Graze

To put it simply, this group was created by, before it branched off from, the Shadow Ops, to show no visible connections between the two. As a more active investigation team, they cannot be distinguished by sight, speech or actions alone. While they are illusive as individuals, they are scarcely known.

[berzerk] The Great Gunman

As a faculty of firearm fanatics, people here were praised for their marksmanship. This hall of famed was constructed by war veterans from Danko and Blain to even the man nicknamed The Boogie Man as a reminder to the noble cause they contributed to a war that happened long ago, not long forgotten. However, word still buzzes that they were more than responsible for sparking the war. As rumor allows truth to deviate from matters, the actual blame laid upon this group isn't rested on. But because word has allowed to be spread, a long list of accusations often awaits the means of their judgment. So they only remain a hall of fame for old war veterans. This was until the head of the group, Admiral, allowed his son to inherit the leadership responsibilities of the group. Since then, the veterans have been known to be figureheads while the group itself has turned into a crew of zealots, masking their desire to overindulge by the slogan that has been with them since its start "The Best of the Best, The Great Gunman."

Now its newly recruited members are found running rampart every now and then through news reports of shootings and such. The organization's license is soon to be revoked, making it illegal for this former honored group of veterans to even ogle their once famed firearms.

Is there a site that allows better quality (not requiring membership for viewers) for a movie than youtube?

You can produce your own high quality videos on Youtube, google it, some people will get annoyed and agitated though, because it takes a long time to download, i suggest just making the video and letting the viewer decide for themselves if they want high quality or not by putting fmt&=8 after the URL or something like that. Why do you want high quality video anyway?

What other action taunts are there aside from victory, smoke, piss, remove cap and that other one activated by alt+2?

I dunno about that one, i think thats it, except /pwn where he does that dance. There might be a way to make you own taunts client sided (?).

Where can I get the stats for all of the weapons?

Download a dedicated server and view weapons.ini.

# What other action taunts are there aside from victory, smoke, piss, remove cap and that other one activated by alt+2?

/smoke    alt+1
/tabac     alt+2
/takeoff   alt+3
/victory    alt+4
/pwn (don't know, I have it as alt+s in my taunts, but I think I just made it there)

there are several ways of killing yourself:
/kill
/brutalkill
/mercy

supposed to be: Choose weapon back

/limbo     (I just red about this, but I have never tried it.)

that's all I can find.

# Where can I get the stats for all of the weapons?

Weapons.ini  in Soldat folder    You can mess around with it, put sniper billets in a minimi for example.

To respond to the post I have not given a response to;

@nuclearrambo: I will do that actually. As much as I would like to try and rush the map creation, I have to keep in mind the outlines that must be made first for anything of the sort.

@scout: I will contact you for further details once I am more aware of what it is that I require. But otherwise the sound effects are a great offer too.

@Akira: Great. I will contact you when I have a further understanding of what I need. Or might contact you first hand.

@homerofgods: Thank you for your contribution to this thus far. For this among many reasons gives me a motivation to press on with this movie. I will update my questions section soon. I will check out your references at my leisure. School and work do stuff to time that...umm...yeah. That's my brain on lack of ventilation.

@miketh2005: Thank you for providing me with a site that bests youtube where I am in need of the extension of quality. I will check our the sources on my leisure time. And I tried out /pwn earlier today. XD I actually used it during online play as well. And I rather liked it.

@tehsnipah: Thank you very much. I am glad to see an idea of mine flourish, slowly but surely.

@~Niko~: Yes you may help if you wish. I will be in need of extras to begin with. And any advice you can provide, I would be happy to receive. Also if there is any other way you wish to help, let me know and I can see. I am grateful for your offer.

@Kagesha: I will check the links a little later. Thank you very much. Which reminds me, I need to get a stunt crew together for testing some of the big or dramatic scenes that will be preformed in the movie. One I would like to try out is a scene which requires the slow motion effects provided by the game itself.

Great Prelude Script.

I can help with almost anything acting wise and perhaps Choreography or Some Scripting.
Whats your timezone by the way?

(I'm not overly sure on the script but I'm particularly interested in The Great Gunmen group and I have a feeling that the new group inherited from the Original Veterans will include `echoes` of the Vets such as Boogie Man. If there ever is I wouldn't mind acting on behalf of the Boogie Man's Echo or some character of the sort, whom is basically a crazed but skilled sawman. xD This is just what came to my mind when I read this =P)

I'll look over the links now.
I just thought many people like youtube, it's uploaded in full quality so it's possible to watch it in full quality. (that's what it said in the links anyway. but if you find anything better, and cooler, that's good.

by the way.. if you upload on youtube, you can customize your account to make it look cool, if you know what I mean.. you can have a background with pictures from the movie or something-
and for those who want nothing but pure good quality, you allways have a link to download it.

One thing I did forget to mention in regards to this was the evolution in weapons and combat development. I do not mean the use of modifying the weapons but regards to which weapon will be used and when. Of course the first weapon that our main character, Corbin, is the ussocom and later on to be introduced to newer weapons with advice for each piece of equipment he receives. The same thing goes for the use of the jets.

Weapons also play a part in the scenes here too, as chainsaws are less than likely to be used by players with the exception of Grey, The Boogie Man and possibly zombie extras. Aside from The Great Gunmen, the other organizations will likely be restricted to the use of select weapons to promote and present uniformity, even if in similar uniforms.

However, the two groups that will less thank likely make little use of weapons would be Heaven's Cross, confined to the use of a knife for surgical appeal, and the insignia label for the Major Clan, who will be in the standard outfit that all beginning players are in.

edit: And to mention, I downloaded a map maker from the original site. It looks like the one I started to tinker with long ago but did not really get into.

I might, repeat: MIGHT be able to help out in the musical part. I'm not a profressional producer, but
I guess I'll link to some song I've made:
http://www11.nrk.no/urort/1.0/track/download/572791.mp3
It's nothing huge, but I'll help out if it's necessary. Different musical styles should not really be a problem, as I play both the piano and the guitar (I do sing too, but I wouldn't really reccomend putting my vocals into a soldat movie, might just ruin it), and I've got some decent software and VSTs.

This is good work for 15 minutes Confusion. Because of its contribution, I'll have to put it to good use. Currently, aside from espionage that has to be done in some parts of the movie, I have yet to script a scene appropriate. But it does give me an idea for the reintroduction of Heaven's Cross. After the reintroduction, I'm in need of wind effects.

Niko, it does not exactly have to be action based. Well at least not all of the action scenes. I am going to get started on writing the script for the first scene soon. And speaking of which, I was thinking of calling this more of a series rather than a movie. Because this DOES involve a plot and not a plot summary spoken upon over action scenes and idle moments of dialog.

After the reintroduction, I'm in need of wind effects.

I'll see what I can do. =)
Come to think of it, I'll wait until there's a bit more to make than just wind, seems pointless to set up all the recording equipment and so forth just to make wind sounds.
Tell me when you have a couple more tasks to make, then I'll be there for you.

Understood. I do not actually mean that you should add the wind in after wards, but a separate file that bleeds in as the remainder of the music fades out. Something generic is all that is in mind.

Also, I am about set up to write the script for the first scene. But this only requires me to find a speaker for the dead at wakes. Since the prologue begins with a death, I figured that the first scene should start accordingly in the place where Citel's brother was being buried.

just a question decoy, for any part of this groundbreaking movie, would there be any 'slow-mo' shooting scenes? like for example... a group of men emptying their rifle magazines on a single person?

Why im asking, because i could do special sound effects for these type of scenes

heres a single sound effect for you to listen to : 'man breathing out to prepare shooting-trigger depressed-shot- recock- ejected shell hits the floor'

get it here.

In fact there is a certain scene involving Grave and a sniper. And there is a certain sound effect needed for that moment now that I think about it. Which reminds me, I need to hop on the outline and the script for the first scene once Finals are done with.

Tell me anything you need music/sound related. I've composed and recorded a lot of times, and I can make something for this. I'll also be any extra. A sniper role would be cool if you have any left.

[RD] = Rough Draft
[RD] Act 1.

Scene 1.

Black was the dress code for this occasion. Gloomy was the mood, inescapable by what news rings all too true of the scenery. Gray were the skies in mourning the loss of one particularly beloved individual. Grey was the host for this rainy evening. And thus, Gray was the attire in which Father Joseph Fryer was clothed.

Saturday was indeed the sadder day.

This was especially true for one Ms. Felina Dulcia Belle, who was intent on becoming Mrs. Belle-Citel. Grey Citel, the one she poured her all into over the course of a year, was at rest for reasons she did not know. The loss was too unprecedented. The turn of events struck her cold and she was believed to be ill after. But her well being takes focus much later in this tale. As she did her best to stand strong beside her fiance's coffin, the figure of a young man, dressed accordingly, integrated himself into the rest of the funeral attendants.

It was Corbin, Grey's younger brother, who was accompanied by two suits, none of which intended to make a scene. Father Joseph's aged expression would boradcast a warm smile [ chat: (:; ] when he saw Corbin and company finding their place among others had it not been for his intent to not make a spectacle of the boy's late arrival. So an acknowledging look was given to the boy before he was to say his piece. "Dearly beloved..."

[[The actual words spoken at a burial by an ordained priest are needed here for part of the dialog. Edit later]]

During the ceremony, also before the coffin was to be lowered, one of the people accompanying Corbin tapped him on the shoulder. Attempting to be covert about it, he kept his words to a whisper only meant for Corbin's ears only. "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Attempting to follow the same means through a response, the boy did not turn to face him and whispered in reply. "Yes. My brother was a good man....He did not deserve it." The gentlemen replied. "Your brother was aware of the risks. And falling out of sync with the system, you see what it earned him." Almost shocked at what his ears heard, he turned immediately, like he was set to hit him with a cross. But second thought left him to reply in a different manner at the last minute. "What!" but to diffuse the notion of betrayal on Grey's behalf, he replied before more could have been said. "But even we could not foresee this." Saying nothing else, he met the boy's gaze for a good few seconds to enforce reassurance of his words. Corbin turned back to the Father. The man continued. "Which is why we have been against your involvement. Just as these people here, you are a civilian who has no business in a war not concerning you directly."

"But I'll be of age next..."
"Regardless, this is a serious matter to be handled by the people who are equipped to handle the situation, not by people with grudges. Plus your brother's death was not sustained under ordinary circumstances. A battlefield is one thing. The matters in which your brother was involved in were much worse."
"So train me."

His voice raised unintentionally "Train you?". "Both of you. Some respect please?" His partner, the darker gentlemen who also accompanied Corbin spoke to settle the two. A moment passed like a stork soaring over head. They continued.

"Son, we came to comfort you, not recruit you. And I understand your loss. But if anything, now is not the time for revenge. Just let the Chess handle the matters as we conduct our investigation. Your intervention would only put your remaining family in jeopardy."
"At least let me find out why and how he died. Give me that at least."

Once again, his partner spoke up.
"I'll tell you what we'll do. And this is me being generous. Once we find out what caused this then we will let you know what we can afford to let you know alright. But for now, no more questions out of you about the matter. And Jude, you know damn well compromise works best, even when we were sent to give condolences."

Marque said this when he knew that the both of them were sent to that region for more than that. They were the two conducting the investigation. Jude might have hinted at this but for the meanwhile, Corbin was none the wiser.

Done I am not. It is just that the break I was taking for a number of things for academics has paid off throughout the year. So I will place the story where I have access to it for the purpose of adding more to it here (http://docs.google.com/View?id=dgdnz3dt_22g88g793h) so when I can make updates to it, others can view it for their opinion. I still need to get my procrastinating self working on the level design as well because that is also important. I also saw something of a Superman mod which works along with one idea I had in mind for a late level.

Apparently I still need this account for this thread. >_>

A new question has been posted for the purpose of details. The details will regard more than just the character's appearance. However this question about player colors is asked with some regards to wardrobe. I am also considering the use of skins, if that is better needed for costumes. However I know not how to apply them myself. I will look about for instructions on how to do such a thing.
