Actually, the carbine on there is an M-1. The M-1A1 is the one with the folding stock.
Awesome mod though! Some of the weapons need some more work, however, like the STG-44 and the MG-42.

That's a damn good mod, but I think there's enough WW2 mods out there already. It's just not a very original idea.

Yes. In german.
It's not Gewehr - gewehr it's a german gun. Gewar is finnish weapon.

I like this mod, but i need installation instructions.. normally you just extract everything to the Soldat folder, but this time im having problems with where i put what. (for example, folders that should be other places and not where theyre at in the archive).
Any help please? I got it to work once then i couldnt get it to let me change the weapons around.
And is there a place to get "Original Soldier" mod... but in English?

Set weapons at config, go to folder "mods" and in the next folder there are inferface-gfx, sfx etc.. extract it to soldat folder...

WinRAR is free.
There is a Trial version with it, but after the thirty day Trial expires, it pops up with a message to buy it everytime you open it. But you dont HAVE to, just click the close button on the buy window, and you can still extract and open and such, i just think you lose features like encrypting and passwording RAR files.
Just download WinRAR, or quit whining.
RAR is usually prefered over Zip due to its better compression - less HDD space and faster downloading.

This mod SUCKS! The interface gfx r Boxy, All the wep Gfx r stolen, The panzerfaust is UPSIDE DOWN! There are weapon identification errors... Trust me, if there is ONE THING i know, Its WWII weapons. Not only all that, but Several important weps r missing, Like the Gewehr 41, and the Gewehr 43, The M3A1 Greesegun, The M1A1 carbine, The Browning, A Stat gun, Fg42, and more, Aside from that, The BAR Interface looks like a rifle, And the Weapons gfx looks like the henchin StG44... You REALLY need to learn things buddeh. PErhaps you would be better off actually MAKING the things... instead of STEALING them all... just a LITTLE advice.

If you're going to make claims that work is stolen, it's adviseable that you have some evidence to back it up. Theft accusations are a serious business.

I use WinAce (http://www.winace.com) - it also has a nag screen like WinRar, but it's still a freebie, and has better file support and better compression algorithms.

I try to make realistic weapons. Some weapons are stolen, you are right, but I stole only in-game thompson and STG44. So I didn't stole all things. Interface-gfx weapons maybe are boxy, I will change it. Look at my other mods or interfaces, I didn't stole anything in them.
Oh, and dont talk like small baby crying coz the toy is out of order...

Evidence is need to support your claim of stolen gfx. And if you think he aint put in the right weapons on his mod...maby try and make a mod of your own with those weapons.

He darkened it... Cept for one pixel, he lightened that, And put a pixel at the end, then Slapped it in his mod and called it his.
P.S.: Im gonna search through for more stolen stuff, i KNOW he couldnt have gotten permission for those henchin Gfx...
Heard somewhere bout the creator not wanting his work used in other mods.
If i need MORE proof, You all seriously need to consider something, If he stole all this, Why not just download the original mods? :P
Oh yeh, only way i know how he stole like 9/10ths of it, is cause i HAVE the mods he stole em from.

I hardly think that a trivial thing like borrowed modification graphics would even have any accusational strength in court, and I doubt Kairi would even bother to sue. So why exactly does it matter in a tangible sense?

I'm having trouble with this mod. I extracted using winRAR and moved the folders to soldat blah blah...and when I click apply (and check the box) and then hit Play the cmd box comes up for not even a second and then dissapears and Soldat doesnt come up...any help please?

Having some probs with the mod, I think I put everything in the correct places, and when I use the mod I get all the sounds and effects..but I just can't seem to get the guns (ie. interface guns and weapons-gfx)...
help?

i found the screaming soldiers EXTREMELY annoying, and it seemed overall just a bunch of clips from a bunch of games i played already, the weapons didn't seem to match up with the actual soldat counterparts.

Garand is kinda too boxy/square-ish. Rest is okay.

Why don't you make the Deagles to Twin Lugers, because the Garand is way too overpowered.
Also the original Thompson used in WW2 has 50 rounds in it's magazine.
Nevertheless, this mod rocks.

Panzerfaust's still upside down, the mp40 looks a little... stretched? >> Other than that, I think it's a HUGE improvement over EiB II. I'm gonna download it, and tell you of any errors I find... (think of it as constructive criticisim, It ain't flaming... at least so far. >>) ::)

Yeah, I downloaded this once again. Loved the voices, my adrenaline in game grows so I get this "MUST STAY ALIVE" -feeling.

Many people say me that this mod has specific climate. Is it true? :P Well I tried to make the most realistic WW2 Soldat mod ever, and I think that I made it. So I'm glad that you like the mod and it has been downloaded over 1000 times!
I'm getting annoyed of people that didn't downloaded the mod and didn't play on it and they comment only because they saw screen, they will now propably say "FMBM graphics are much better so your mod sux".
I'm now thinking about making new interface and publishing it as EiB3 version 1.2

...and you made the most realistic ww2 soldat mod, without doubts. no matter of other's opinions i don't know for other so well detailed and realistic interface weapons like in your mod.
the sounds in this mod are perfectly assorted and give that war sound feeling. all that with more powered weapons gives it a true battle realism.

They also drawn in the same style to one-another which is very important. I admit i havent downloaded it! But i shall definatley once i get my files in order :P

Yes, your mod has very specific climate and unique style, post Russian assault at this forums :P Dont worry about someone can better pixelart, some modders can nice weapons from pics, some pix, also 40~50 % mods is picture rips, 50~60 is pixelart, if you cant do that, just draw manualy directly from real images but still pixelart in parts, maybe this will be not fast modding, but you learn how to make sprites/pixelart weapons as real images.

Let's see...
Russian Assault:
EIBRA\Gostek-gfx and EIBRA\Gostek-gfx\Team2
There's no interface except small elements like star, arrow and noflag. Main difference in gosteks are some altered colors, little shapes and headgears.
EIB3:
Copy Europe in the Battle 3\Custom-interfaces to Soldat\Custom-interfaces.
For modified default interface copy Europe in the Battle 3\Interface-gfx except Guns subfolder and paste to Soldat\
For different teams, open Europe in the Battle 3\Gosteks-gfx folder and choose set of gosteks (American, British, Polish, Russian). Inside each of set is Gosteks-gfx subfolder (in ex. Europe in the Battle 3\Gostek-gfx\American\Gostek-gfx) Now copy that gostek-gfx folder and paste into Mods\Europe in the Battle 3\

a job well done! very fun to play and i love the soldier's head next to the health bar. i favor the ww2 mod a tad more. i dont mean to be a douche but (this question is out of curiosity and not out of troll) shouldn't all the guns be russian in the russian assault mod? the MP40, panzershreck, mg42, fg42, p38, panzserfaust and mp 40 are german. once again, i dont mean to be rude but and this question is from pure curiosity.
