When you commit suicide like /kill or /mercy, there's a point deduction in it right?
How about informing you when your deducted? like there's a message that says: "[player] is deducted x points for committing suicide."

btw I think it should be removed, as "normal" selfkills(i.e. m79, nade selfkill) arent substracting any points.

Usually Id say pick a logic and stick to it. ie
All sefkills should decrement your score,
or
All sefkills shouldnt decrement your score.
But I think that killing yourself with your own weapon should be penalised, whilst a /kill should not. Commiting seppuku is different than being clumsy.
Also, perhaps instead of spamming the play area, why not utilise something thats already there. The caption for a selfkill could be split up to allow 2 captions.
For example;
instead of sharing default "You Killed Yourself", a /kill or /mercy would give the caption "Suicide" or "Hara kiri!", whilst a selfkill via nade or m79 gives "You Clumsy Retard!" or "Smeg for Brains!"
The text is really up to the person in the end, but the point is [on a fresh install] a connotation distinguishes the two.

my friend committed Seppuku accedentaly. but is it really -1 pt? never see that...

The point deduction is more to prevent players from cheating during deathmatch I believe. Some players have a taunt bound to '/kill', and if somebody is about to kill them, they just do it themselves.

There isnt a point deduction. I sometimes kill myself for fun during playing (/brutalkill as taunt - /kill is boring, to little blood, haha), and I never lost one point, just +1 death. But maybe, maybe that would be a nice improvement - suicide = point deduction!

No..... I doubt there is, I should test it out. How many point deduction comes out from 100 times of /kill or /mercy.
