Title: Admin/Password to my router doesn't work
Post by: ds dude on September 18, 2008, 10:10:11 am
Well, I tried to use "admin" and "password", but they didn't work.

I tried "admin" and "admin", and those did work either.

Could someone tell me why they aren't working?

I'm using a NetGear Wireless-N RangeMax router.
I tried:

http://192.168.1.1/

http://www.routerlogin.net/

And they passwords don't work.

My router doesent have an admin pass by default. Just leaving the password field blank works fine. Tried that?

The default pass on most netgears should be:
username: admin
pass: password or 1234(I had the later one)

Yeah, my netgear is the former.

DS Dude, I am sure your router came with an instruction manual on how to use the admin panel part of it. If not, try holding the reset button down for ten seconds then try logging into it via the quote above these two sentences.
