Title: Grenade Explosion Time

So basicly, i Was thinking, Adding a time to the grenades explosion. For example, mabey a gamemode varient for TW you could instead of useing the grenade for grenades(what?) you them for mines, let me show you...

[Grenade]
Damage=150000
FireInterval=80
Time=999999999
Ammo=1
ReloadTime=20
Speed=50
BulletStyle=2
StartUpTime=0
Bink=0
MovementAcc=1
Recoil=0

The numbers would represent the ammount of seconds it would take for the explosion to happen. In this example the time is set so high so that in order for the grenade to explode it would have to be steped on like how a mine is used.


Just an idea i wanted to throw out :D

How come this isn't moddable yet!?

When was the last time any great idea was added to the weapons.ini (besides recoil)?

Been suggested before. Doesn't mean that's a bad thing, it just is.

I like it, but not that necessary. F12.

Ahh, that would be nice for modding and can be helpful if there are any issues with grenades. But I'd suggest that if it were to be put into a server or as [Weapon Mod], they must show the new timer used in the server, otherwise it can be really a headache to some players who enter a server, thinking its default weapons balance but having the grenade crapped up.

*heh heh heh, set the timer = 0, and watch people self-destruct when they use grenades, MWAHAHAHAHA!!!*

I wouldn't want this in a normal game like ctf. but maybe in TW or something.

It's something that would be added to the weapons.ini file. It has nothing to do with gamemodes.

How about setting speed from 50 to around 5 so you can't throw mines on eachother ^.^
I think this should be possible in trenchwar, or atleast modable

Also you could set reload time higher
