Well aparently, my computer SOMEHOW got a trojan virus, which is extremely gay. I'm rightnow trying to find out how to get rid of it, and it's a LOT harder than I thought it would be.....
Can anyone tell me a way to get rid of it? And don't try to include a word that has anything relative with pay/money. I'm right now saving my money to buy some neat games that are going to be on November. Ex: Gears of War 2.....

your incompetent antivirus program probably can't completely get rid of it.

... If you can find out its name or one of its components (it may be as easy as checking your active processes in Task Manager), you can always google it and find out how to get rid of it.
SmitFraudFix (http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php) tends to be the automated solution to these kinds of things, but I wouldn't use it until you've researched your problem first. If you do use it, however, use it in Safe Mode.

Yeah, some trojan viruses and viruses in general are pretty easy to find in Task Manager's processes. Just look for a file with a name that arouses suspicion.

If you have Avast try using boot-scan.

If you have multiple hard drives, move all your important files (Games, music,
schoolwork porn, ect) over to that drive, then reformat the boot drive. If you suspect the virus to be on the second HD, backup to disk and reformat both. Same for if you don't have a second drive.

If you don't have an antivirus program or if you use Norton then I recommend getting an antivirus program.
Stop using Internet Explorer you primative dog.
Don't download attachments from emails unless you know already what they are.
If you can open task manager, check the processes you can google the name of each running process to find out what it is. (for example rundll32.exe) which can aid in identifying what virus you have. You can also search for that file name in your hard drive and if it is in your C:\Documents and Settings\User directory then it's most likely a trojan since that is where most spyware/viruses tend to install themselves.

Hey, my computer actually got quite better thanks to you guys. And I actually had to spend money for the freakin Anti-Virus pack, but hey, I guess it wouldn't be that too bad :D

Well, I used AnhLab or something 'V3'. Spyware and Virus detector.

Dump that and get Avast or AVG. Free stuff rocks your socks.

meh i sudjest you to download spyware terminator.
it always saved me from lame troyans...
just download it,weak the security level to MAX and just wait for that gay troyan to jump out...
than you might want to do a full system scan that can delete all the other shit like viruses worms..
