Title: [REVIVED] PHP Weapon Editor
Post by: Garciat on October 26, 2008, 03:33:05 am
I heard some people liked my PHP Weapon Editor so I decided to write it back from scratch: PHP Weapon Editor (http://garciat.us.to/soldat/)

Please report any bugs you find at the forums (http://garciat.us.to/forums/).

Edit: Ok, everyone, I've rebuilt the editor, adding more functionality and, hopefully, making it better. Please, even if you're not interested, stop by and give it a try, it won't hurt :D

Seems like a pretty nice script, works pretty well for me. I'm adding it to the Fan Apps list. Nice work :)

Suggestion: be able to pick whether it starts out as weapons.ini or weapons_realistic.ini, and show at the side any changes made (+ put them in the .ini).

Thanks for the tip! I made a new page ('new_real.php') that will start with the default realistic weapons and output the file as 'weapons_realistic.ini'.

Now, I'd have to work on the change check.

Edit: Instead of adding a change check, I added a column with the default values, which is much easier.

You really don't need apps like these to mod your weapons. It's much faster to just copy the existing file and mod it a bit.

forcing the user to log in pretty much sucks, you should make it an option.
if you'd offer some help on editing the fields (how high the calue must be to cause x damage over y meters range for example) you could make it more popular.

btw: somehow i can't login, i think i mistyped my password when registering, so can ou please jsut delete my account `minus`?
