Ok, seriously, this is basically Soldat Devolved. I wholeheartedly believe that it is actually one of the single best things of any kind I have ever made, I kid you not. My friends and I have been using it for a while, and continue to think it's hilarious. Give it a shot. Even if you don't want the graphics, give the sounds a shot. That is, if you have a sense of humor. If you don't, move along, there are lots of nice mods around here. Though I still expect to be flamed anyway by those who couldn't read this.

Registered Interfaces not included. Pictured are Mega Man Classic, which is mine, and Some Other Interface With A Name I Don't Remember, which isn't. Unregistered Interface is included. No, not just you... Just nothing special. Graphics are poor. BUT: sounds are sometimes really funny :O I didn't expect this :D When I heared the berserker sound I died.

Same, actually -- it's been so long since I actually made the interface, and since I always use registered interfaces, I totally forgot about it. I will readily admit that I amuse myself way too much.

I liked it for a round. Well almost a round. Some of the sounds i found remotely amusing, but overall is was cacophonic. I did like the screams though.

make jet and step sounds louder, i don't hear a shit ingame hahaha though, the sounds are awesome, and the dot, and mute icon.... you gotta break when you see them! hahaha

no need to be registered, just place the folder on Soldat\Mods and run the Mod Starter, then select it, and press "Start soldat modded". Make sure that the folder containing it has to be:
Mods\Cooldat!\...
not
Mods\Cooldat!\Cooldat!\...
That happened to me...

well guys, i've been threatened with a lawsuit due to the amount of copyright porn that's been uploaded. I can't keep this thing online anymore. No matter how many donations this can muster, the site just can't stay up without restriction, and i really hate authority way too much to ever play the role of it. So, this must be the end. On the bright side, we do have barack obama as president in a few months. That might be really nice. I'm believing it will be.
But, anyway. That's about it from my corner of the internet. It was nice knowing all of you.
...Okay then, the best image host on the internet just permanently blew up, so I guess I'd better get to re-hosting those. ...Balls, I'll have to dig them all out of my screenshots folder again, too. Bear with me here, I'll get it fixed in a few hours.
Edit: There we go, it's fixed now! ...Or maybe imageshack is such a complete Communist waste of bandwidth now that they don't even let you use img tags. Feck them. Lemme find somewhere else.
Edit more: A quick Google later and I'm on imagehosting.com, which apparently still hosts them on imageshack, but lets me use img tags with them. Whatthehellever, so long as they let me do what I feckin' want with my uploads. Fixed, and with a better one that shows the rest of the unregistered interface, minus the hilarious ping dot and mute icon.

Explosions look interesting... but the mod itself has no appeal even as a comedy mod. It has been done before and really says more about the amount of effort you're prepared to put into a mod rather than the concept itself.

Have you downloaded and played this mod yet? Or are you judging from screenshot appeal? I think mods should be really judged based on how fun they are to play. There are a lot of nice looking mods that play like a brick.

Downloaded it, haven't played it yet but the sounds are HILARIOUS!!! Really good acting out of the sounds with your own voice etc =D

I just played the mod. The weapon I loved most was Minigun (especially the startup sound lol!!!). MP5, Barrett, Ruger and DEs are probably also some of the best too.
I can tell you used older Soldat graphics (1.2/1.3) to make the mod actually, the shape is quite similar and the chainsaw is shorter than it really is.
All in all, great work! I recommend this mod!

Good eye. I always liked the classic gostek better than the EVO one added somewhere along the line. I'm pretty sure I just took that and went over everything with solid colors. :P

but I was under the impression that the idea of modding was to produce weapons that are accurately drawn.
