I have a question, which clan has been active the longest? the ''oldest'' (still existing clans.)

There's a couple of R/S clans (blah blah blah I know nobody cares about R/S) that are really old. {SEAL} I think is 5 or maybe even 6 years old, and :[DS]: is at least 4 years old.

The oldest realistic mode clan is <{rsk}> and I think its like 6 years old aswell

One thing is when the clan is 5-6 years old, but no one heard of it cuz it was some kind of a pub clan. Another thing is to consider the clans, which did show themselves in the soldat community and are still participating in it now. I can think of 4 clans like that right now... 1st is definitely (SN), 2nd SK (Serial Killers), 3rd 2wai (well... unfortunately not as active now, but it still exists) , and finally Terror, which is almost 6 years old (will be in a few month)

{SEAL} and :[DS]: aren't "pub clans". :[DS]: pretty much created the R/S community and used to CW regularly. At one point, they were considered the best, but they're far too inactive and simply don't have the skill they used too. And {SEAL} still clanwars and has an active memberlist.

It's the same thing with <{rsk}> it has been alive a long time though I'm not going to say too much about it since I wasn't here from the start, some guy from realistic that knows more should come and tell us the story about it, I like soldat history though it can seem bit nerdy

Yeah, I would problably have to agree with Xurich for once, that it is Soldiers Nightmare, that is the oldest clan..
Not sure if any of the old leaders still play though.

Yeah but at that time is was just 2 ppl in the clan, and they didnt start to scrim/cw until they got into R/S.

About the active clans today, I would add to your list AlterEgo, it's not the oldest but one of them. To my knowledge RB is the oldest, though they have had couple long inactive times, when SN has been always active.

the oldest clan that has been active all along is probably SN, afaik the clan was formed in 2002 although came to public knowledge in 2003. RB is officially the oldest existing clan nowadays because SaD ceased to exist last spring, since summer 2002 although they've had lots of inactive seasons during the years. I think SK has been around since 2003 aswell although they had a few no-play years along the way. think AE was formed in 2003 aswell but had a brief spree of inactivity around 2004 or something, not sure. haven't really been keeping an eye on the northern american community, but at least there are some people who have played for a long time
oh and about 2wai, the clan was originally founded in early 2003 but got inactive for a long time until n2j3 came back a couple years (?) back

This question would be kinda tricky to answer if you consider the existence of public clans more than private\gather clans nowadays...

It is a clan that plays on pub servers and does do CW's. But doesn't participate in any official events, at least without any honors...

heh...what does SEAL stand for?
I've been wondering, why does clan tags always need to stand for something.
My clan tag in ql is "Lover" and thats it. :D
SEAL as it is would sound twice as cooler than sea, earth, air, land etc. in my opinion.

IMO too. Seal sounds complete. But it is a bit cool that the complete name has a hidden message :P

So that's a lack of creativity...Had a clan called UABS, stood for ultimate aimbotter squad xD
The tag was crappy, yet the encryption I love :D

Why did nobody ever keep any archives about the most knows clans of those times???

If I remember correctly, airwalk was considered a hacking clan some years ago?
Atleast I remember on one of the servers I used to be admin on some players sporting the airwalk tag got caught hacking.
