It already snowed here two weeks ago ^^

Where do you guys live?!

Finland
(short post o rly?)
-
Yeah, I've heard that it snows pretty much in Finland. I'm not there to see it even though I am Finnish.
Here in northern Germany it actually snowed a bit, but now all of it is already molten, besides it's not normal for this area to have snow.
-
Mediterranean coast and snow are not so compatible...

Yeah... but if you go to the interior it snows a lot...
-
Well, west coast of Canada doesn't get all that much snow. It might snow, maybe in January or late December. But before that it pretty much just rains.
-
we just got frost and today we have some pretty heavy rain in South Jersey.
-
It snowed 2 weeks ago, and melted, were reaching record highs for this time of year of like +5 to +10 for Edmonton, Alberta, (West) Canada.
Im going to the Philippines on friday, woooohoo!

No, actually, there was tons of snow like a week ago or so. Lasted for a few days and then the weather got warm and it started to rain.
And I live in Estonia. Northen-Europe...my fecking ass.
-
Lucky bastids. All we got in NC was some light freezing rain.
-
Is global warmin I tells ya.
-
We've been getting flurries here in the Chicago area. At one point, it snowed relatively hard, but the snow didn't stick.
Still waiting for the big snow to hit, even though that's gonna suck for me because I have to drive half an hour to school 4 days a week.
-
It's been snow here for like half a month and it sucks bad.
-
It snowed since like 1 AM last night here. Its still snowing now... (IL)
-
Its still warm and sunny in Cali. Specifically norcal. :D
-
No snow here, just brown grass and lots of rain.
-
All I got was heavy rain. :(
-
It snowed a couple times, today it's kinda a slush upper-30s thing. We tend to get more snow late December to January. Some in Feburary, and random stuff past that somewhat.
-
Is this how dead the forum is getting?
It snowed, wow, I'm sure it snowed lots of places. It has been snowing for millions and millions of years. Should I make a thread next time it rains? The next time I experience gale-force winds perhaps?? Maybe when I next see a cloud which looks like a dinosaur. Maybe if I see a squirrel I'll make a thread, or a fox, or maybe if I take a trip to the zoo and I see some monkeys displaying their genitals.
Jesus.
Oh, it was cold today but it didn't rain!!!!
-
Mangled, just shut up, how about you make a thread about you take an action instead of bitching, man.
Snow is special, because it only happens for very short period of time.

For some lucky bastards perhaps. I'll be shoveling my driveway for a long time after winter has bugged out of your country.
-

-
It actually held back this year quite a bit, but snow's been here for like 2-5 weeks

Tromsø, the grimmest place on the planet. I will be there again in April, hooray.
P.S. 11F/-11.5C here right now. Shitloads of snow. Saw a car-wreck happen at the 4-way intersection of my house this morning due to heavy sliding.
-
Down here in Florida (south east USA) snowing is almost impossible. Current temperature is 63F. I've never seen snow :-\

Wee snow day today.

You poor bastard.
Of course, only several hours after I posted that we were waiting for the big snow to hit, it began to snow for about 15 hours or so. We got about 4 or 5 inches. Cleaning off the car felt like the opposite of an orgasm.
Also, Mangled is a grumpy prick.

Guys... I need to tell you something very important....
It might snow here TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Twas snowy for ~ a week-2 weeks or soemthing like that... but slushy atm :(
-
@Mangled: Yes, because my appreciation of snow concretely means that I see it as a gift from God, or worse yet, proof of his existence or some similar bollocks. I don't question your interest in attempting to make non-atheists look like fools at every opportunity you get, so don't question my trivial interest in weather.
My surroundings seem rather peaceful at the moment. That's why I enjoy snow. Staying inside, staring out the window, and drinking a mug of hot chocolate. It makes me appreciate what I have.
To put it bluntly: You hate the concept of God and the people who believe in such a concept. We KNOW! But stop trying to tie such hatred into something as unrelated as snow. That's the kind of annoying behavior that causes people to disrespect your opinion. If all you're going to do is piss and moan about this thread, I advise you to feck off.

Wait, so the only people who like snowy days are Christians? I didn't know! It's a good thing you posted that backwards, I hear all people of faith are far too lacking in brain function to read that way.

Why so serious?
I don't hate anybody... except for clergy, but they don't count as people.
I have as much appreciation of snow and the weather as the next person. But I don't consider it worth creating a thread just to notify people who don't neccessarily care that it is snowing. It seems to be a desperate reason to create a thread, but in these deadened times in the forums who can really blame anybody for discussing the weather.

I never stipulated any such thing. But I'm worried that religious types, particularly Christians, would apply mystical meaning to snow as if it was a miracle of God rather than just part of a natural weather cycle.
I typed it backwards to not only emphasise it but to exert your brains.
-
Cool. I need my brain exerted every now and then.
I hope, if and when it snows, that it's deep and widespread enough for my planned "Man with a shovel" picture that's been on my mind.

If we're lucky it gets below freezing at night in early December. It hasn't really snowed in South Eastern Texas, where I live, for more than 15 years, obviously more since I've never seen it but whatever...
-
I like snow. Too bad it only happens once or twice a year here in Seattle. Oh well, I'll keep praying.
-
and as Dara O' Briain said on Mock the Week; "you know when you're growing up when you look out the window at snow and think 'ooh...this is going to have a bad affect on transport...". And indeed, I do :(
I miss having huge snowball fights in the school field..
Oh, and spam by shantec deleted.

Damn, we get suspended if we do that.... :(

Thats not a bad idea... :)

Don't give them ideas, Mangled. Your rantings are merely forum-fodder.
