Post by: AquaByrd on December 23, 2008, 07:49:47 am

Gosh, European pubs must be pretty damn harsh. Don't get that in Australia, usually. Not unless you're being a tool.

Do you know what you can do? There's a feature in soldat, you can mute people.

Press "/" and then write the name or the ID of a player. (You can see player's ID by pressing "/" and then F1)

like:
/mute I-am-a-dumbass

Lol, some are. I managed to play a couple of games earlier but that was Deathmatch though, I'd like to play CTF.

I'm not sure that'll help me stop being kicked, but thanks for the advice.

Normal DM servers tend to have the least amount of hating. Use filters to see only that kind of server, and pick one you like.

Hm.... I don't know that many EU servers, but I can definitely recommend you some #Fracs servers and #tba server. They are popular in America...

A match with few people who meets via IRC where are they gonna play. When they all are in a server, they put on a password so nobody else can come, and then they start the match.

Also... you get kicked? That's lame. Just play in another server.

Fractured CTF is for everybody... if it's still around, that is.

Yes, it is.

Just, as a general rule of thumb, don't bring up dead topics in the future. This one wasn't that horribly dead, but I might as well tell you now: don't reply to topics older than several months unless you really have something useful to the people who replied to the topic to say that hasn't been said or announced in some way.

Sorry, I guess I didn't keep this in mind when I was browsing the older forums. I'll be more careful next time.  :P

That's just lame how we, advanced playerspersecute newer players. We were noobs too... why don't we let them play normally? -.- Anyway. If you can't find a good server where to play on, I suggest you to play with bots, on the hardest AI option of course. I didn't like that, for 6 months 0.o Not because I couldn't find a server where to play on - rather because I didn't know how to join a server.

Visit r/s servers too! We're quite friendly I guess. Depends of the people though...
