Someone joins the serv as Major, Major (1) ect till its full and chrashes server.
His real name is *snip*. Chrashes all HnS servers but [eC] HnS.
He says its his friend. also he is attacking TMS HnS.
Help?

I think you're being a bit specific as to the nature of the hack (bad thing to tell the world how it works).
In fact I would just kill this thread and contact the writers of the script + the server owners and tell them what is happening, as they are probably the best to fix it. Sounds to me like a bug in the script.

It's not a bug in the script, I can tell you that for a fact. There is a person who uses Perl scripts (I believe they are Perl) to repeatedly connect to the server and, thereby, crashing it. There's no way to stop this outside of an IP Firewall (That I know of).

I dont know why my server doesnt crash I dont understand. Maybe its something else?

Do not name hackers, it is against forum rules.
(Also, if this happens to anyone on my hosting, read the latest PHP-Commander news about the Hardware Firewall)

@Iq: I know its not a bug. Also, People get a bug and server thinks they are in spec, why?

It happened again, I Have the ip of the Attacker/Hacker (Its most likely Dynamic =\). If eC wants it, Pm me.
I demo'd it also but for some reason it wont load.

Call me paranoid but I'm fairly sure Fahad and Saad are telling him to do it, or they know he does it and doesn't want him to stop. He's admin at their server and it seems everyone else's HNS server goes down except theirs.
Fucking unethical to keep him, Fahad, especially since he's crashing the server of the guy who wrote the HNS script.

The guy won't crash their server because he's pretty satisfied enough with having admin over there. That is, happy enough to not crash the server regularly.

The reason he crashes it is not simply, because he can. He's crashed from the first time he ever got kicked from the server for breaking the rules. I guess that now he's changed his motives though. You can see when it all started at shns.co.nr (http://shns.co.nr) under the topics iDos and Why haven't we had sex yet?
Oh whoever has this certain crasher on their server as admin is an idiot.

Call me paranoid but I'm fairly sure Fahad and Saad are telling him to do it, or they know he does it and doesn't want him to stop. He's admin at their server and it seems everyone else's HNS server goes down except theirs.

Man my server is crashing too.... So i dont know why your posting that me and fahad are telling iDos to do it... iDos is barely on. Why would I tell him to crash? Well if hes crashing hes crashing mines too. iDos got admin because he would follow the rules and he knows how to do some server file managing... BTW YOU GOT TO GIVE ME PROOF HES DOING IT. If hes doing it he will be kicked and banned from server (including admin)... So far I have seen a pic of iCrash not iDos... :D Well im planning to get firewall so doesnt matter to me

Yeah.. iCrash and iDos are the same person. I even have the log of him saying that he is on my other computer.

Server Wurstbude got also attacked a few minutes ago by a hacker. He makes use of script, I guess, in order to flood the server ten times a second. My server just crashed and I could not join it anymore. I also tried to avoid this happening by using a server firewall, but it seems that the hackers' IP changes every time he tries to attack. By the way, I recognized that the hacker uses some restart cipher like the one in EnEsCe's "Server port setting tester" and he usually changes the port trough he joins every time he floods the server :-\

We have the same problem.
Someone with a ip from the turkish telecom floods the servers. Banning over soldat does not work. I filtered the whole net from the telecom via iptables. I feel sorry for other players, but i see no other solution

Yea, seems to be the same hacker who also attacked my server. Trackig his IP results in Turkish telecom for me as well.

So, we have all of this evidence of iCrash being iDos (and if you choose to ignore it, simply ask him if he's iDos).

Ah, that guy has been doing that for some time. Just firewall his ISP and your problem should be gone.

ddos is type of attack and perl is a coding language

DDoS is a distributed denial of service, meaning multiple sources of attack.
