ok so does anyone else think this is the epitome of s**t. i suppose it angers the f**k out of me cause i know its gonna be omg teh best movie ev3r. and theyll probably make a second one and ill have to take some idiot relation to go see it
and yes i know movies have been like this for a long time before all you artsy f**ks start moaning about how im probably an idiot too. but this is definitely a huge f**king jump beyond the puddle of film s**t

AS the trailer started I was seriously considering paying my $12.50 to see this just for nostalgia reasons. But the actos look nothing like the goddamn cartoon, reason for watching = gone.

Dragonball is good for one thing: laughing at its awfulness. I might watch it for that very reason. I mean come on; from the trailer it looked like Karate Kid meets Power Rangers. I wonder if they ever say over 9000...

The movie is going to suck because it was made to be a 'family film'. Well sure Dragonball was always more of an adventure-type manga, but all the classic elements have been stripped away. The only way any movies from this series are going to rock is if they start with DBZ, in a pure-action-no-nonsense format. If they are going to stick to the live-action style then they better add in a whole lot of fancy effects.
Dragonball is dead. Hope that Dragonball Z will be any better.

The guy who did The One is directing it. If nothing else, we'll be seeing some good fight scenes - and Goku sandwhiches someone inbetween two motorcycles, I'm bought. Used to be a fan of DBZ, but I'm not expecting anything from hollywood. Let 'em fuck it up, who cares!

The only experience I have with dragonball is reading the first manga book. Pretty good read, but I can't say I will be angry if hollywood fucks it up.
