Radio messages are great and useful, but we need more. EFC FFC and INC are not enough.
Here's some we could use:
Free Flag UP-MID-DOWN
Flag Lost!
Clear!
Affirmative/Negative!
Need Backup (up-mid-down)!
One more crazy idea: #soldat.gather and other Soldat IRC channels to be in soldat chat :)

You can change the taunts yourself, the textes are in taunts.txt in the soldat folder. Because this would be kind of tricky to know which button is which taunt there are plenty of tauntchangers out there.
The best tauntchanger I know comes from selfkill and is free, try it out ;)

yeah but hes saying that we need more. and whats it matter if you can change the text? other people will still be saying the same shat and so it will be a mixed message on both ends.

Like I see it you have taunts on the all numbers, signs and letters, how could there be more without having one special button that changes the "page" and gives you more (each button twice taunts) ... ???

you are both getting it wrong. i'm talking about the new improvement in 1.5.0. Radio messages with sounds, not the taunts with text. If you dont know what im talknig about, go update to soldat 1.5 and press V ingame to get radio messages.

But yeah, I F12 some more radio messages.

Free Flag UP-MID-DOWN - Ehh not really to sure about adding that one
Flag Lost! - It already says it it says "Flag dropped" same thing
Clear! - Ehh not really need you could easily say it
Affirmative/Negative! - Not needed -_- besides they ave taunts for that already saying "Yes, Sir" & "No, Sir"
Need Backup (up-mid-down)! - Ehhh yeah they should of :\

yeah but you bind the radio msgs to taunts, meaning that even if you miss to read the taunt you get the sound version of the info. giving you some redudancy.

Ohh and by the way before forgetting this is good about radio compared to taunts.
Taunts they hover above your head and it dosent make it team chat but radio is teamchat so radio would be faster :D

You can easily make taunts teamchat.
On topic, I agree, there should at least be one for 'Loose'.
You rarely radio in 'Need backup' unless you got the flag, where you can radio in FFx

i edited the radio sounds for my needs and connected them with the taunts, but i'd like to have more 'radio slots'. Maybe don't add it to that V menu (may get messy), but giving radio more sound-slots to use to connect them with taunts would be really awesome.

You can change the text you say over the radio in Txt/radiomenu-default.ini, but I'd like to be able to extend the radio menu. That'd give you pretty much all the extra radio messages you'd want. So we'd have things like Menu1=FFC , Menu1Sub1=High, Menu1Sub2=Mid, Menu1Sub3=Low, Menu2=EFC , Menu3=Enemies , Menu3Sub4=freakin' everywhere!, etc. I'd discourage support for extra sound files beyond the default ones.
Also it'd be nice if the radio menu was wider / stretched to fit the length of the strings.

F12, I suggested this before soldat 1.5 came out although EnEsCe added only a minimal amount of taunts...which was :(
