I started to play soldat activley since 1.4.2, but i played it even before (firends computer, only bots), think it was 1.1.3, remember it had only socom as secondary, might even before.

If I can remember, it was also 1.0.5b for me. My friend at the time introduced this "cool 2d multiplayer game" he'd found. He also
introduced it to me, since at the time I had a Gateway Astro computer, that could just barely run Quake 2 and I wanted something
that could play smoothly and was multiplayer. I didn't fall in love with Soldat right away, since it was hard to maneuver at first,
so it wasn't much fun getting smeared all over the maps. I played for a while, then left it for a year (crappy internet and school),
came back when 1.3.1 was just starting up and played till current.

I started with 1.3.1 and since then it has been my favorite one.

1.2.1. I played at a friend's house and we were all like "holy crap, you gib people if you hit them in midair with the M79!" and I camped a lot. Good times.

I played strict INF, always on Llama's (n00bface's) server.

Wow, seems like im the youngest one here.
As i said, i found soldat at 1.1.3 or sooner, then it was less than half an hour of play overall, and since then i didnt played till 1.4.2, september 2007.

I started to play at 1.3.0, then quit Soldat sometime during 1.3.1 or 1.4.0, discovered these forums, then came back for 1.4.2, then I registered for these forums.

I just spent some time browsing through the Soldat Version History, and it turns out I first played v 1.2.1. I'm serious. I know this because I only ever played on 2 maps: ctf_Chernobyl and inf_invasion. Anyway, I played for 3 months (1 school term) then discovered tennis and badminton. So about 4 years later I asked my brother to re-download Soldat. But, alas ctf_Chernobyl and inf_invasion were nowhere to be found (I had forgotten their names but I could remember the fond memories of me killing bots at
4 am.)
So if anyone has the maps: ctf_Chernobyl and inf_invasion, I want them!

I always just messed around with bots so I didn't embarrass myself first playing online, and I also played a few LAN matches, but I started playing online in 1.4.2.
I never thought I'd really NEED to join the forums, so I never signed up till like...
...now. :P

Couldn't find out a better way to phrase it, that was short enough. that simply means that x is greater or is 0, but smaller or is 5.
but yeah, I keep forgetting at what side the >/< shall be of the =....

A way I remember it is that the < is a crocodile and it always wants to eats the bigger food. So 2<3 means 3 is bigger than 2 as the crocodile is trying to eat the bigger food, which is 3.

There was a Little fighter website that had all version of it thoes time and had a few more games like soldat and pool..
after playing all the little fighter versions i downloaded soldat lol and play till this day :D
