Title: Hosting MP games

I just want to play a quick game of soldat with some of my friends over the internet. Do you have to actually pay for a server to host games or...well, what options do you have? I don't want to pay for a server to host a quick deathmatch! >:(
As you might have noticed I'm a complete multiplayer illiterate. Any help would be appreciated :)

Dedicated server, go to the download page at www.soldat.pl, and follow the readme and http://devs.soldat.pl/wiki/index.php/Main_Page .
And do the portforwarding, if you have any questions, visit the servers subforum.
You connect to the server over the ip 127.0.0.1.
