Title: Entering Multiple Commands at Once
Post by: AussieJay on May 22, 2009, 10:18:04 pm: This is pretty much self explanatory: can we have the ability to enter a command multiple times on one [enter] ? So you could add 30 bots by typing for example

/addbot john x30

The Good
~ quicker to change things like adding bots
~ pretty much it

The Bad
~ spam?

1) It doesn't add anything of importance to soldat
2) Can be scripted (before anyone says anything about this, if you can't script then ask one of the friendly scripters to make it for you in a PM...I'm sure someone would help out if you asked them nicely)

Just don't see much need for it...

You can write a server script that adds however many bots you want at once, making this sort of feature unnecessary.

Furthermore, what happens if someone finds out your adminlog password, logs in, and does /addbot John x500 ? He'd kill your server and possibly majorly slow down the computer it's hosted on.

Serverscripting allows you to add this feature if you really need it. But I haven't seen any script for that sofar - seems not to be a must have feature.
I don't think it's necessary.
