Title: "New Message" keeps appearing.

The "new message" alert came up, so I pressed "ok" and it turns out I have no new messages. I then regretfully deleted all my PM's. And it still comes up. Everytime I sign in it comes up with the notification "new message".

Is it fixable? I like the notification, but i'd like it a whole lot better if it worked properly.

What the? This has never happened to me before, and I've had that notification set to be on. You can go to Profile > Personal Messaging > and uncheck the "Show a popup when you receive new messages?" box.

I've got no idea what caused your problem, but doing the above might solve it.

Yeah, that fixed it, cheers. I liked that notification though.

It also says I have a new message in my inbox, though it's empty!

Thanks :D Fuck she's hot.

I just ran SMF's "recount all totals and stats" task which is supposed to clear up issues such as this....try now.
