You're not getting old. You just have common sense. It's nice to see there are a few out there with common sense. Those stupid social interaction sites annoy me to no end. My gf will spend hours on Facebook everyday. Last nite she was on the phone, on her laptop on the Jon and Kate + Hate livejournal page while watching the latest episode of JK+H. "OH MY GOD! HERE IT IS! THEY ARE ANNOUNCING THEIR DIVORCE!" The stupid page crashed as loser after constant loser posted stupid one sentence quips. "Oh my god! Kate is such a bitch! She could have been spending that time with me doing something else. But, that is one of her interests in life. What can I do?
Some people are just enslaved to "social" crap. It's like the show The View. Family Guy did a good spoof of it. It's a show with a bunch of boring fat hens clucking and squawking, about either nothing that is truly of interest to anyone or about something that has been discussed to death for the last 3 decades.
I do like some online social interaction. A forum post or read once in a while and the odd chat in a good game of Soldat. Other than that, most online social interaction is nothing more than mindless, useless, time-wasting, redundant, fresh regurgitation of old regurgitated crap.
The other thing that annoys me that fits to the above category, is people who post in lolcat speak. Yes lolcats are funny and I quite enjoy them, but Goddamn people.
Oh and lastly, I can't stand pregnant women or babies. *shudder*

Ignorant people by far set me off the most. I really hate it when ignorant people think Death Metal requires no talent and is just noise. When it is the most technical form of music and uses some of the most difficult instruments to play. Also stating that anything that looks easy takes no talent and anyone can do it.
I wish they all would be constantly raped until they bleed from every orifice and then are sacrificed to cannibalistic religious groups.

I generally don't like disrespect and high levels of prejudice. However, what I tolerate least would be ignorance, which is often tied to extremes and may also be linked with other factors like prejudice. Examples include Nazis and terrorists.

I really couldn't think of anything to say here, so instead I'm going to say what I love:
Bunnies, cats, good books, good video games, tim's jalapeno chips, old zelda games, tennis, the satisfied feeling you get after figuring out stuff, and a good movie every now and then.
Obviously that's not all I love, but it's a pretty good list.

This does annoy me. they might be a waste of time but I enjoy spamming facebook with some of my IRL mates every now and then, calling them Emo is pessimistic (see the irony?)
Also I hate the fact that earphones make my ear canals swell up and make it hard to wear them, and I dont have/can't afford a decent pair of headphones. Plus i can only crank up my speakers when no-one's home since my family hates it :(

Actually, I play guitar and do vocals in a tech death band (among a few others) and can say with absolute certainty that there are other genres more technical and requiring of more talent (both musically and physically) than variations of metal. Yes, I'm fully aware of psycroptic, cryptopsy, necrophagist, etc. But you can't tell me that brain drill or origin are musical masters? Any new player can try for a week to master sweeps and play the same songs effectively. As far as I'm concerned, tech death requires only a rapid memory and the genre that takes the most talent relies a little more heavily on improvisation. Like I said, I play tech death, and there's nothing that frustrates me more than people who think that the genre is a pinnacle of musical achievement. I have 'studied' music my whole life, but I haven't been to Juliard and haven't devoted my life to a 14-hour-a-day training regimen just to get denied from the Czech Philharmonic so that I could play in some state's orchestra like so many others have. My grandmother, on the other hand, is a f**king pro.

Sometimes: can't stand not having the means of seeing the people I really want to hang out with at certain given moments throughout a day. I have no car, and everyone I know has to live in retarded places. This relates more with people I haven't seen in f**kin months, and need advice from. The s**tty thing is, I still haven't been able to see these people, and one of them just got married. Good for him! but um, meh, I'm selfish.
So yes, I suppose I can't stand it when good friends make themselves really f**kin busy during summer vacation while I'm sitting on my ass, wondering what to do with my time. Guess I'll get into some good books? lol. I'm just venting over stupid stuff. To be honest, this isn't as bad as a mouthful of cinnamon.
Um... another thing I can't stand: people that are ignorant - or simply just too caught up in their own problems. I communicate through actions, facial expressions and what-not, and words. Apparently some people are so caught up in their own heads that they completely lose any sensitivity towards anything but direct, vocal communication.

Oooh I just got reminded of something that mildly disappoints me:
When people qualify music.
If someone says "I don't like metal," I say "Okay" (Possibly "Aww man I'm sorry") and we go our separate ways. Unfortunately, most of the time people append "All it is is screaming," or "I prefer calm nice music." That makes me somewhat frustrated. It is just fine to say you don't like something, but downright rude to generalize and otherwise insult other people's opinions. In order to get into a style of music, learn all the bands, the sounds, techniques, etc, you really do have to like it (with a few exceptions). Therefore, only people who like a certain genre of music are qualified to discuss the musical merits of things within that genre, so it is pointless and rather distasteful to bring the conversation of another genre past "I don't like it."
It's still difficult to play. It's up there with Jazz and Classical.
I also am displeased with this type of statement, for reasons outlined above. Unless you are a rare exception, you've never played all 3 styles of music you have noted, or even gotten into 2 of the others. Therefore you are not qualified to compare them.

I'm not surprised to know if people use blogs or facebook. My explanation (being one myself):
1) A blog is just a diary that is put up on the internet, as compared to a book, though it can be seen by practically everyone. I have one, but I barely update it, unless I really have something to say out loud. Other than that, it's just to keep in touch with my friends.
2) I am pretty surprised at how everyone uses Facebook, and way even before I realized Facebook even existed. I made an account only recently with the intention to keep in touch with friends. If I do other stuff on Facebook, I'm just bored. And no, I have no pictures on Facebook.
I don't really see it as an emo thing.
Remember though: the internet is not a substitute for real life.

For some it is hard to accept that when we value people by their deeds, not everyone is equal. Not every nation is equal. Not every culture is equal and most importantly no religion is equal.
Yes, it all comes down to individuals. But when the individuals form a group, and we observe the deeds done by the people who form the group, we can see differences between the groups. Just like males are different from females, cultures are different from each other and so are the values among those cultures different.

ive found the opposite. crime statistics in the australian states of victoria and queensland show that people born in sudan, a predominantly muslim country, are under-represented in crime statistics. and even if it were true it doesn't take into account the fact that immigrants are poorer and thus more likely to commit crimes, and that much crime comes from unfamiliarity with the law bred from a mistrust of police.

Well that depends on the swear word used and depending on your religious views. Saying stuff when something goes wrong like "shit" isn't, but saying stuff like "oh my god" can be said to be blasphemy and therefore a sin. Ultimately, swearing is fine and it is human and normal to swear, but we all can agree that swearing in general is rude and informal. I have nothing wrong with swearing, I just prefer to minimize it.

Fact of the matter is Gnoblar, eating wild meat is a lot more healthier and in my opinion also much more humane (does depend how you kill the animal). I grew up on a ranch and despite that we always took utmost care of our animals, the whole industry was just ugly and sickening. In some cases it's like an ongoing holocaust for animals. Back in the old days cattle and other animals raised for meat roamed free and happy on a small pasture or in the woods. Now, they are crammed together in a small space, forced to stand in their own faeces and in the case of pigs, grow up never seeing sunlight.
A lot of current diseases that are affecting cattle and pigs were caused by the above conditions. It wasn't much of a problem, until humans started getting affected by the diseases as well. Since the days of animal domestication, disease among livestock was never a concern. On one hand, yes, a sick animal probably had it worse, being left to die or for predators, than a sick animal has now (1 bullet). On the other hand, being out in nature as nature intended them to be, the healthy animals had very strong immune systems. Animals raised in sealed, temperature controlled barns not only develop poor immune systems, but are also fed medicated feed to fight off any possible contaminant. Imbreeding also was not much of a concern, since the animals themselves would stick to their own social order. Now, being in close quarters and fenced in as they are, it happens a lot. Some ranchers also have been known to lock up animals together, so as to save money. If one bull can spawn 3 imbred generations, before genetic defects start appearing - saves a bit of cash there.
Animals are being raised in unnatural conditions, fed medicated feed, given hormones (which some biologists have argued is extremely dangerous and I guess there is still an ongoing study to see if it is affecting human consumers), their getting more sick and in some cases have been given feed which contains by-products of their own species (it's speculated that that's how "mad cow" disease started).
We knew a pig farmer who was a useless ignorant piece of work (that should be deported... he's Dutch and actually has contempt for my country - Canada and also Canadians) who had a modern farm. He had a sealed barn, fed his livestock medicated feed and hormones, etc. Every day, one of his workers would go into the huge barn with a .22 rifle. (A pig is an intelligent animal, that have personalities. They actually make excellent pets, so I've heard. They can suffer stress to the point it causes heart attack.) The asshole would go in and shoot any animal that was struggling with a broken leg or had physical deformaties or if it looked like it might have brain damage. He would shoot them, while standing in the middle of all the pigs in the pen - rather than seperate them. All the rest of the pigs would flee, screaming, with no place to go, but run around. My dad asked the asshole pig farmer one day, after seeing some freshly killed animals with broken legs come out of the barn, why not butcher one or two, have a bbq today and put the rest in the freezer. This guy was revolted at the thought of eating his own pigs - his own product which he was raising for human consumption. He said they weren't even fit for the coyotes to eat, after the carcasses were dumped in the bush.
And that is how it is. An animal that can run around free and happy, is a healthy animal. A healthy animal is good eatin. This whole industrialized meat industry is so sickening that I've been pondering not eating meat that comes packaged in a store, since, I don't know who raised it, what is in it and also if the animal had a decent life or not. Otherwise I still like meat.

I completely forgot that Animals are kept in confined little boxes and not pastures/paddocks anymore. I seriously did, and I completely forgot about that. I apologise. I Australia most of our meat is brought up in paddocks/pastures, so that's where I got that from. I forgot about that whole thing, I really did. I think we should breed our stock in pastures and paddocks, at least growing it healthy and when it's time, give them a bolt down the neck for an instant death. This way we get delicious meat, and the animals aren't tormented by us for their life, and their deaths are painless.

Here in Canada, I've just become very angry at how disgusting the whole meat industry is. There is so much pasture land here that is unused, it is a crime. Haha. I couldn't agree more Maddog. In my province, it gets worse and worse the smaller the towns are, strangely. Everyone of the youth talks like that, to the point it's starting to be incomprehensible. On a road trip not long ago, back up North where it's sparsely populated, I stopped in an A&W restaurant in Peace River. Five grade 10 or 11 teenage girls came in, stood in line behind me, then turned around and looking into the glass case displaying all the toy prize crap that comes in kids meals, all I could hear was, "Oh mih guh, lak I nee tha, oh mih guh". Literally. So, is "Oh mih guh" supposed to be "Oh my god" or some new phrase? To this day, I still have no idea what they were looking at. If I remember correctly, it was some crappy toy or object that looked like an adornment.
