I know papasurf31 was making one, but stopped. I'd really like one, and I wouldn't mind chipping in (as soon as I get a better mouse, since the one I am using right now is jittery+battle damaged).

I would really like help to make one.

Basically, I was hoping it would be a community sort of project. No, I am not trying to take over the forums, but I mean I can't do everything and I was hoping for a full conversion.

What I need help with :
Map making (I suck at this.)
Sounds (I cannot get this done)
Gostek making (gave up on this ages ago)
Weapon makers (I really, really need help with interface weaps)
Testers

I can import the files into the mod switcher (by Ivan and his mechamod). If any of you are confused, I mean that I wish to include every single weapon and player model from the game. Sounds like a lot, doesn't it? :(

Plan to do :
Deagle replacements :
Simple - Dual pistols per faction (USMC, PLA, MEC)

MP5 Replacement
USMC= MP5
MEC = Bizon
PLA = The AT weapon (can't remember it's name)
Extra weapons = SCAR M, P90

AK47 Replacement
USMC =  will sort out later
MEC = AK101
PLA = Ak47 (or that rifle thingy they have)
Extra weapons = F2000/G3A3

Steyr Aug Replacement
USMC = M4 Carbine
MEC = AKS74U
PLA = QBZ97
Extra Weapons = G36E, SCAR L, L85A1

Shotgun replacement :
Each faction's shotgun
Extra weapons : DAO 12

Ruger replacement :
USMC = M24
MEC = Dragunov
PLA = Type 88

M79 Replacement
USMC = M203
MEC = GP30
PLA = GP25
Extra weapons = FN2000 GL, Grenades (infinite)

Barret replacement
L96A1
M95

Minimi
USMC = M249SAW
PLA = type 95
MEC = RPK 74
Extra Weapons = G36 MG mod, PKM

Gattling
Nothing. Elimination of bullet spam

Fixed turret : Antiair gattling gun (the stuff on the ships)

Knife = Knife
Chainsaw = MEDIKIT!!!!!!!
Pistol = Each faction's relative pistol
LAW = AT launcher. And it's USMCs.

I plan on making Kubra Dam's map (simple for it's levels and fun factor).

I know, seems like I just copied and pasted. But it makes sense, considering firing rate (except da M249 saw, too fast)

Hope anyone is interested.

EDIT : For gosteks, I need

USMC - Specops, Medic, Sniper and Assault. And a buni hat for the engineer.
MEC = Everything.
PLA = Everything except the medic, just give him a buni hat

This is just a sketchy outline, I do not expect anyone to do anything (considering how much work there will be)

I remember when MercyM (Has quitted soldat) Said he make BF2 mod but he didnt.That will be awesome if it will doned!

I have some of these in the spec ops mod, and may add some of these in the next update. But that doesn't realy help ya now, sorry :-\

I really love BF2! PapaSurf's BF2 mod looked really good, but he didn't finish it.  Can't wait for this one to come out. :P

He's not making one, he's asking if somone else will

yes, that is my point.

But I'm willing to help, but to a bare minimum. My day's of comp usage are over if I don't get good results. So far, it's okay, just need to wait for my English and Science results to return.

PS31 was probably one of the few good modders that existed.

I wonder if they'll come back... if they don't we should make a memorial or something.

Progress report :
I have started on ze gosteks. Will post pictures soon.

Also, I have realised that this is much harder than expected. much, much, much harder.

I'm not dead, I just never finished that mod cause it looksed uber crappy.

The project I'm working on right now, Neo-Arsenal, will feature just about every single gun mentioned.  If you wanted to, you could take the guns from there once they are done.

YES I WANT A BF2 MOD!

papasurf's style is better then my, thats the reason why I dont make a BF2 mod :D

I made an MK3A1 Jackhammer, an MP7, and an M95 for myself.  BF2 is a great game, and I love those guns.

They're probably the worst guns you'll see, but I'm trying to get better.

If you want you can use the bizon i made in the partial mods section.
