Title: Irish server

Hi all. Im just wondering if there are any irish players out there that would be interested in joining an irish clan server. The server is ready to be set up and a website would be hosted for us, free by a friend.. Im just probing to see if there would be any players up for it.

Hi Shard. Glad to see your interested.

I take it by your response, there ain't to many Irish players on soldat anymore. I hope its not the case, as I am really interested in getting a community going and resurrecting some soldat fun.

Yeah, in my 2 years of playing online I only came across 1 other Irish guy who I lost because of the version change. Also, the amount of Americans that claim to be Irish. I know alot of them have roots here, but that's blood, not citizenship. Thats not really being Irish is it. Fair enough if they moved or what ever.

OT: If you can get the server going, I can get some of my buddies to play. They probably wont be serious though :P .

Well. I'm still very eager to get this up and running. I don't want to limit us to just Irish lads but I would have liked to give some of our boys the opportunity to join us and fill the server slots, and the closer to the server the better, but I now realise that pickings maybe scarce.

Lets set a target for a 16 slot server first and see if we can fill those places. If we can manage to get some recruits that would be willing to play a few nights a week, to establish some training for a clan, then I would be more than happy to rent the server and get our website hosted. Maybe after we get noticed some players may want to join. If any of your friends fall into this category Shard,then let me know.

If any UK lads would also be interested, don't hesitate to drop in here and let us know.

/facepalm, didnt see the UK lads welcome in top post. Thought it was only Irish people :S .
