Zabijaka.pl is a polish multiplayer servers hosting company. Admins decided to open 6 public soldat servers to show people what their servers are like.

If I had to say sth about deathmatch server I would have said that this server has awful configuration.
1st of all: Bonuses are on.
2nd: Respawn time is way to short.

I Fuc*ing hate the anti camp/Spawn-kill script
Camp script is so annoying i cant freely play without getting that ugly yellow letters STOP CAMP OR YOU GONNA BE KICKED.
If im playing soldat i want to be free to do what i want not that it forces me to get a mp5 or ak74 and run like crazy and shoot all over the map enemys witough even 1% of brain usage , also Making Barrett a useless weapon on this server , this script simply isnt made for "Soldat".
I also get it for reloading my heavy weapons law barrett m249 (standing and reloading) now i must run around and reload it. And what is CTF if i cant stay "camp" 10 second near my flag and defend a enemy attack wave.
Spawn script kill Annoying like hell on CTF_ASH and other small maps cause you get that spawnkills so easly and subconscious on them.
So my all in all impressions : Spawn-Kill/Camp Script Is like someone putted a broom or a stick in your arse and forced you to sit at 90-Degrees all the time. Very very annoying

You see I play barret almost exclusively and i dont have a problem with script detecting me as a camper, simply cause its ctf and you have to run to get the flag. This script is not uploaded to dm/ctf5 servers

lolwat learn2barrett if you're sitting on one spot for more than 10 seconds you have to suck. just to clear it before you turn mad, yes i've played the barrett enough to know how to use it effectively.

Also , i've noticed that many of the players use a new hack which i wont give the name but to recognize who's using it , the player is gonna say
I'm using ***** hack , visite www.****.etc...
Well if you notice someone doing so , please contact us in irc #soldat.zabijaka or talk to us in the servers or you could also try to message us here. Keep in mind , that we cannot be active 24/7 but we try to provide you the best gameplay possible for you to enjoy this game at the best possible , and hackers are not tolerated.

Tried using that script with bad results. It crashes the server everytime someone says !top, thats why id rather use some freshly coded script.

It's true. Lately the barrett is really overused in CTF.
The limiting script might be needed.

Added Weapon Limitation script to CTF#2 and #3. Script limits m79/barret to 2 for each team. Let me know if you find any bugs.

Btw, 24 seconds you are allowed to CAMP... i strongly suggest that you try out the buttons "W,A,S,D" they might could help you.

One of the CTF servers, it was on nuubia (not sure how the map distribution works). maybe 13:00 CEST 15/5, and "Sexy Bradley", some admin called "russian" banned me, because my running and chainsaw skills were too good.

Nope, I can connect, but right after I select a team I get kicked, and it just says "You have been banned on this server".

Well your ip aswell as hwid are gone from banned files so try changing your nick perhaps?

Seems like I'm only banned on zabijaka CTF #3 now. or maybe it was always like that... I'm guessing it's some remote admin script or something.
edit: actually, it might be a nick ban... just tell "russian" to remove it, and maybe actually not ban whoever he feels like banning.

Moved CTF CTF#2 DM and CLIMB servers to newest version. Considering taking climb back to older one due to astonishing number of script errors. Also leaving CTF#3 and #4 as well as ZombieSurvival on 1.6.3 for players who havent decided to update to enjoy.

Will there be another 4v4? I really appreciated CTF2 for its 8 player limit, almost every other playable server has at least 10 players on it...
Also, did you remove the commands (!track, !rate etc) from all of the servers? I found them very useful

Thats doable but sadly I don't think soldat server is capable of holding 30 players, my 16 slot server is using 40% of cpu sometimes after all.

My 16 slot server is running on i7-2600 3,40ghz and 16gb ddr3 so it cant be the case here. I think its mainly due to soldat server being added things throughout the years and not much was done towards improving server performance. Also will have to find/have it created a huge ass map(s). There are a couple worth mentioning like old run, ctf_Harlequin, ctf_Voland, ctF_DeadlyPass, ctf_Purgo, ctf_Carcereas, ctf_Fastidio, ctf_Festen, ctf_Naive, ctf_Lypse, ctf_Silence etc. Will also have to redirect all game join requests from other servers to this huge one.
Servers still going strong today though :)

could you please put ping limit like 150 or even less for the small amount players servers? like server 3 has 8 ppl max for small maps but ppl playing with pings like 300 its pretty annoying.. ty

Most of Good players sometimes have 150-180 and I found out that there isn't any problem if player have 100-180 after 220-250 he start eating and lagging.
So don't even think about 150. Better max 220-250
And if you have problem with scoring and killing, maybe YOU are the problem, not other players ping :] :] :]

There are people from around the world playing daily(au, china, thailand, hong kong etc) I couldn't possibly bring myself to render them unable to play on my servers as they are one of the very few last active servers.

Ja w miesiącu mam na telefonie ok 10-20zl wolne, bo mało dzwonie a jak już to w zasadzie używam tylko skypa do rozmów i czasami smsów(darmowych wiec nie liczę tego), więc ładuje konto jedynie dla przedłużenia. Jeśli akurat miał bym na zbyciu trochę na telefonie mógłbym doładować serwer.
Swoje serwery usunąłem więc mi to tam wisi na co wydam te 5-15zł
Wiem, że doładowanie sms to tragedia(30-40% idzie w kieszeń dostawcy) ale nawet te 3zł się czasami liczy xD xD

If your favorite server went down for whatever reason, I'm willing to host an equivalent provided you will take care of it(and hook me up with essential config/scripting etc)!

After few year of being admin in few servers and almost 2 year having 3 my own servers I decide that I'm done with it.
maybe because I was a bit... persistent Admin: from 9 to 21 online(thx to app in my phone), No bit#ing = ban and GTFO, and I didnt liked other Admins that use privileges to beat other players :]
Beside I Preordered Sony Xperia z2, and don't have money to pay Internet bills and gonna have only net in phone for next month xD

don't say, being online on servers for 12h a day for almost 4 year, its not Amateur :] Unlike other "Admins" I dont show up for few min per day and use admin to annoy players, I give all of me when I'm doing something.
There is loots of "young boys with amazing skills" thats gonna kill for their own server for free, just wait and you gonna see :]

Back in 2007 i rented my first soldat server on selfkill, I remember it being expensive as hell(15euro/month or something). I've either hosted or admined on a few servers at a time since.

For me, Soldat isnt only game I'm playing, I still have Clan Crysis server(ASC) and I need to mute some idiots in Enemy Territory, because even If I didnt played it for months, I still have Admin in Xp for beginners server :/
Maybe its seems that I spend days in forum and soldat, but its only because I have auto load site in my browser at start, For few days I didnt play Soldat, and if, only between 10-13 :]
Really, get some young fellow from this forum(Drax?) and give him zabijaka server :] You gonna see how cool is work with people that dont have any clue how to behave as an Admin and work on server, not only login from time to time to ARSSE/Baka :D

I rarely play nowadays but ive stuck to admining cause i really enjoy providing some sort of service to this game which also can bring joy to players. I've cooperated with vast variety of admins throughout the years so I doubt anything can surprise me at this point. Also its not like im giving server just for asking, if you cant handle the responsibility or worse degrading zabijaka.pl name i will immediately end this little agreement.

for some reason the only zabijaka server i have good ping is #2 i have 66 and all rest is 116 or 133 is there a reason for that ? is it only me or u guys also have better ping at server 2?

CTF #2 is located in germany while the other 3 are poland based. I could run another ger one, but i doubt it will gain enough attention. I could even go as far as letting you pick your crew and run it yourselves.

How many 'unique' players do you have there per day?
I've developed them over the course of a few years and what you see know is their final form. Mine script is only available on CTF#2. You can't really please everybody, now can you? And basing on the amount of people playing there daily I suppose I did a good job developing them. Tba public had a lot of scripts...
As for the scripts the only ones actually having an impact on actual gameplay have to be Weapon Limitation which players hate and love at the same time(limits nmber of m79/ret a team can use at the same time). From what I recall others only display various form of text and are not altering gameplay.
As for the small maps - CTF#4 mapslist was meant to consist of mainly big ass maps(old mapslist http://pastebin.com/44NWuMs9), but that idea worked out only for very limited amount of time. Soldats love maps they got used to throughout the years. And they dont mind playing 8v8 on ash/guardian :D I'm always open for suggestions and constructive critisicm though. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I'll try and reply with all of the server knowledge I've collected.
I can't really trust my unique visits scripts nowadays cause its bugged but it varies anywhere from 50-150 unique visitors per day depending on the server.

/mine script? I love it and hate it. Its small but good fun to plant mine sometimes...
too many players on small maps? its only players fault that they always vote small maps, because as I saw in the past years players recently doesn't like to play with teams, everyone in CTF servers play for kills without even looking at other teammates, so small map=more kills. :]
Scripts? as far it get more fun, server can have even 10000 scripts.
ADHD version: without zabijaka servers soldat would be dead xD dont mess with it :P

IMHO it is a shame that on Zabijaka #4 there is almost no demand for bigger maps.
I, another-pubonly-nub, find huge CTF maps (goldies like Conquest, Festen, Meatgrinder, Mayestic, Koruzlo.. all of which are nowadays played only on Leo's CTF) totally awesome. The freedom of movement, nice sceneries, enough space for all kind of crazy team/solo gamplay styles, etc..
But, with a tear in my eye, I understand that demand for this is obviously not so big.
Maplist suggestion: What about trying some new maps in maplist, from time to time? E.g. ctf_Aftermath (http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=42494.0), ctf_Toucans (http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=41730.0) and others seem like great small maps to me.
Oh and experimental maps like ctf_Crystal_Cave (http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=43030.0) or ctf_Antidote (http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=43073.0) must be fun to try in MP too!

I personally love ctf_Silence, ctf_Festen and oldschool sns map ctf_Harlequin. As for new maps could you establish number of players each map can handle so I could pick server which would be suitable for it.
Soldat outlived thousands of servers, lucky enough I have resources to host them for as long as I can. Probably until zabijaka.pl goes down which wont happen anytime soon. And even after that I could easily rent a vps and host few years more. So best form of gratitude would be seeing you playing on my servers daily:)

Fixed a bug which caused servers #3 and #4 to restart every 5 mins(due to ASE being removed) they were considered offline by the script and automatically restarted. Too bad it took well over a week for it to be reported to me. Should be fine now

Decided to clean up some old log files, ended up deleting over 30k files of old logs... For instance I had logs back from 2012 on CTF4 dayum!

Servers prosperate very good, it is very estimable... but, most frustrating issue for oldies and veterans is short maplist.
Steel, Voland, Ash, Laos, Guardian, sometimes Run and Cobra.
Consider adding some old maps - Maya, Equinox, Death, B2b for 7v7, Blizzard, Dropdown, Lanubya...
Btw, small maps with 6v6 are already too small. Ash 6v6 = spawnmurder party.

I think Laboobya ( :D ) isn't too big. Is just a little bigger than Voland. It seems to be less dynamic, because it hasn't straight ways to get the opposite base. I think that maps like this are more demanding, challenging and making opportunities for awesome actions.

this server needs more active admin. there is always hackers and when I go to irc it seems all the admins are afk. I've only been successful one time out of numerous times trying to get an admin tot he server.

ctf3 was perfect in my opinion. no point script(i believe) and an awesome map list. some of those new additions are horrible like ctf_Maya, ctf_Equinox, ctf_Raspberry, ctf_Run, ect. Maps like Equinox & Run should be on ctf4 since they are bigger. Just my opinion though. happy gaming.

sadly it's much easier to complain than to adapt. people want to play the way they like and that doesn't include having to alter your strategies due to a camper outplaying you. (doesn't apply to 1v1 tho)

I think the max idle time to be kicked for afking should be lowered as it is way too frequent that afker has to be kicked by voting. This is very inconvenient as may result in few deaths or even an enemy cap. Also, it sometimes happens that enemy team doesn't give a fuck that you have an afker in team and they just don't vote one in order to receive free spawn kills and advantage in the battlefield.

I agree and this has been requested many times, but we currently don't have a script which can take care of that annoyance. If someone is willing to provide me with such a script(afk kick after x mins) ill be happy to upload it to the server.

I've been playing quite some on these servers lately and the map rotation gets boring pretty fast.
Please add more maps to the rotation, like, atleast 3 new ones. That would be awesome!

Yesterday i've received a text from helloer stating he has decided to leave soldat and shut down all zabijaka servers. Thanks to everyone who ever contributed, played, helped me admin those server for astounding 8 years!
Especially to Helloer for providing high quality gaming platform for ya all and having patience with me over all these years :-* Hope we get together and smoke that joint i promised few years ago!
I'll probably rent a server or two from someone to continue zabijaka brand. If anyone has an offer to host a 2 12 slots soldat servers ill gladly consider it via email bonecrusher1@o2.pl.

quick update
I'm waiting for my host to set up an ftp server so I can somehow access the server files and edit them. Unfortunately I havent been able to reach helloer and ask him for all the config files and scripts from zabijaka servers. I'll try calling him tonight, For now I'll probably set up 2 vanilla CTF servers. Unless someone has useful scripts and is willing to share them with me.

Zabijaka servers were unfortunately shut down, and this topic is about those servers.
Im working on a replacement servers as we speak. Helloer wasnt kind enough to give me some sort of a notice before oblitirating the servers. Going as far as completely deleting them from my acc on zabijaka so i wasnt even able to grab configs ans scripts.
I exchanged texts with him today and apparenly hes away and is not able to access his laptop and send me those.

Ok so I've reached an agreement with jrgp which resulted in 2 DE based servers. Unfortunately helloer insists i stop using zabijaka.pl as the official name so I had to change it to:

Quick look on KRS(sprawdzałem też listy: uprp.pl euipo, tmdn.org i ZTUE i tylko nazwa "INSTINKT ZABIJAKA" jest zarejestrowana) and you will find out that only company "Logika" and another domain "wave.com.pl" are related to zabijaka.pl
And because of that, I dont see any legal obstacles to use that name for game server, even if its used by other company(that if really wanted to keep it, should register it properly)
Of course with all due respect to Helloer, he can ask you to not use it, but if we take in to the account that zabijaka servers are one of most known in Soldat, restoring name of this servers will seriously help keeping good atmosphere and bring back users that thought its dead.
So as a player(even if not active) I would suggest restoring its name, even as "Zabijaka" without .pl at end because it would be just good for game and players

I'm looking for someone who is willing to code a proper balance script which takes into account team scores and switches players between teams accordingly so the game is somewhat fair.
Also need a redirect script which will redirect player to the next server when they are trying to join a full one
And still looking for server admins

To give some updates, I have partnered with Bonecrusher over the past few weeks to bring Zabijaka back. We now have CTF1 and CTF2 (both in EU) online, with stats.

I'd like to suggest merging stats for for CTF1 and CTF2.
That's a good idea. I'll make that happen later today ish.
What are your thoughts on adding Zabijaka to other regions, or adding a DM/INF server? The name seems to attract people, but maybe the more pubs we have the less all of them will get used?
You can bring back INF server. I don't think that making DM server would be useful, there are already some DM server's and ppl don't play much on them (they play sometimes, but there's no need for a new one). But if it's gonna be also for Steam version - make it! ;)
Adding CTF for USA would be better option I think.

Couple tweaks:
CTF#1 is now 14 slots + disabled minigun
CTF#2 is now 10 slots + disabled minigun
BTW I could use a simple script which kicks spectators after a defined amount of time, if anyone could provide that I would be thankful.

Two questions:
1. Is there any fucking scripting imcluded for kicking fucking laggers who abuse ping to teleport all the fucking time and make game unbearable for enemy team? Well, it's a rhetorical question because there's definitely no such thing.
2. Are there any penalties for ghosting from a spec spot?

1. Nah, the max ping is high cause there are people from all over the world playing. There are active players from taiwan and china and id rather not limit their access to the server, since its one of the few active soldat servers left.
2. I need a script for that(old one got lost somehow). If you are willing to provide it ill gladly upload it to the servers.
