Seems fine for me too.

I just tried to enter the site after seeing this topic, and I found the same problem here.
maybe it's because we're brazilians, lol D:
sry, bd nglsh...
-
omfg hes brazilian, ban him
-
Doesn't work for me as well... It says that can't resolve the hostname... DNS problems probably...
-
Well in that case it's completely out of my control. Sorry.
Maybe you could try out google's public dns service?
-
yeah I heard some friends complaining with a few sites too.
I'll look on the DNS thing

it's working now, thank you biohazard
set "74.54.55.10 tms.jrgp.org" on the file "host" @ "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc"
-
What if I donĀ“t have any file with the name "host"?
-
it's called hosts so the full path would be "c:\windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts", just open that up in notepad and add entries at the end of that list
-
Shoozza's solution:
set "74.54.55.10 tms.jrgp.org" on the file "host" @ "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc"
as like lmhost
-
I talked to my host. They said:
Joe,
I’ve cleared out the blocks in my firewall. DNS Report says things are OK for your domain. Please let me know if you see any more issues.
Thanks,
Mike

Shoozza's solution:
set "74.54.55.10 tms.jrgp.org" on the file "host" @ "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc"
Doesn't work for me. I can see only cPanel default page.

That will not work as TMS is now hosted by U13.

Now, this message appears when I try to access TMS: ???

Edit: image too big
Edit 2: Sorry, i didn't payed attention to the preview posts...
any suggestion to solve this?
edit 3: sorry bad english...
-
use proxy like ninjacloak.com
-
Ugh that cpanel thing should really stop happening.
Those of you with tms edits to your hosts file should really undo them as they are no longer relevant.
Edit: maverick, clear firefox's dns cache. I think it's control + shift + f5 or something very similar.

I cleaned it but it didn't work. =/

What message are you getting? Or is it not working at all? It all seems fine over here.

It wasn't working at all... I was getting a kind of 404 message:
"Not Found
The requested URL /cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.8 (Ubuntu) DAV/2 SVN/1.5.1 PHP/5.2.4-2ubuntu5.10 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.8g Server at tms.jrgp.org Port 80"
But I just did what you told to do on thispost (http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=37821.msg459955#msg459955), and now TMS seems fine to me.
=)
sorry bad English...

I'm glad to hear that worked for you. If you'd rather not have to deal with your hosts file, http://tms.u13.net probably works fine.
-
tms.u13.net is not working =/
-
Not working here either.
Tried U13 stuff, the two IPs in the hosts file, on C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and both didn't work :(

Is the IP you're using 204.80.93.32 ? Make sure it is.
-
For those of you who can't get to TMS... can you get to http://u13.net?
Don't put anything in your hosts file, that is not a solution and is hiding any underlying cause.
Tell us the exact error your browser reports after removing it from your hosts file and rebooting (if you're on windows)
-
tms.u13.net is finaly working for me (withou any changes on the host files)
-
It is starting to look like the company that hosts DNS for jrgp.org is having issues. If tms.u13.net works for you and tms.jrgp.org doesn't, then it is their DNS issues. If we conclude that is what it is, we'll move jrgp.org to my DNS servers.
More reports of things working (that didn't work) or things not working would be greatly appreciated so we can make this decision.
-
http://tms.u13.net/2010/ Works!
Although, I did change the hosts file.
Well, let's just leave it that way :P
Thanks, guys!
-
Squiddy, please undo the hosts file change and tell me what works and what doesn't. This is important to figuring out the root cause of the issue and getting it fixed so other users don't have the same issue.

With or without the Hosts file changed, I can acess The Mapping Showcase with this link:

Thanks for the help, everyone :)
-
does http://tms.jrgp.org work?
-
At least for me tms.u13.net now works, but tms.jrgp.org don't.
-
Ok, here's the questions I need answered by anyone who has had any issues with this:
(make sure to remove all hosts changes)
Can you get to http://tms.jrgp.org
Can you get to http://tms.u13.net
Can you get to http://jrgp.org
Can you get to http://soldat.jrgp.org ?
Please answer all of these. It is looking like jrgp's old host (that still handles DNS for jrgp.org) has either a routing or DNS issue.
-
Can you get to http://tms.u13.net
Only that works.
-
Thanks, that makes it very clear that there is a problem with jrgp's other host (that handles DNS for the entire domain as well as those other sites).
