Post here whatever your favourite songs in Vietnam War era or in 1960's.
Okay, I start myself. In my laptop, I have 4 songs in Vietnam War era. 3 of them are rock, just one is jazz (or slow).
1st. Rolling Stone - Paint it Black
2nd. Juicy Lucy - Who Do You Love
3rd. Creedance Clearwater - Fortunate Son
4th. Roy Orbison - Oh, Pretty Woman
How about you?

Basshunter - Boten Anna

Are these songs from then? I have absolutely no idea what era any old songs are from really.
Cab Calloway: The Scat song
Cole Porter: Your the Top/Anything Goes
Andrews Sisters and Danny Kaye: Quiet Town.
I got into this type of stuff from, Fallout3, believe it or not.

I'm not really into the period, but Surrealistic Pillow and Band of Gypsys are excellent albums/live recordings. Of an entirely different caliber than popular music today. Theres an entire world of more souly rock from that period as well, besides the obvious hugely popular bands.

I can't remember a song's name from that period - it was kind of a mix between Hands held high and Immortal Technique's Bin Laden... But I don't know whether it's a recent song portraying the Vietnam war, or a song of that era... It had ruthless lyrics.
