Did I missed some important post? Why there are ads in upper right corner? Is it something related to paying out BE developer?

I've got adblocker installed, never seen a single ad, besides the ones up in the main ad bar below the profile crap.
So what if they advertise? Gotta pay for servers, connections and such some how...

Bone collector: those aren't ads.

@topic, yes they're there so mm can earn extra cash, originally for the intent of covering BE's costs, but that didn't turn out so well.

And when were they implemented? I guess I didn't notice them earlier cause of ad-blocker.

Mhm. Anyway, ad-blocker did his job awesomely. :) Took me over a month to spot those ads.

Installed ad-blocker on chrome and now it's gone.

Yea, ads on websites these days are pointless... not many people can see them due to ad blockers on all Browsers.
jrgp, you might have to start selling your body on cam in order to pony up the funds :P

I can see the advertisement very clearly, though I have no urge to buy a server in Africa nor am I distracted, and if it makes money it's just okay.. However, do I get money if I ues a google banner in my signature?

Crusade, here you're not allowed to have ads that give you cash in your signature or anything else that falls the category of 'referal links'.

And even if you were, you probably wouldn't make much.

No, he wouldn't. The ads for the forum appear with each pageload whereas an ad in his signature would only appear on pages of threads where he posts.
