I'm currently open to suggestions, as to the genre of the next mod I make for soldat.
And one other thing... This will probably be the last "full modification" that I make.
One thing that you could do for me is give me a list of all possible mod settings so I can make a large poll.

i was actually planning to do a mass effect 2 mod- complete with Shepard's n7 armor and Collector gosteks, but the sounds of the weapons are really hard to find.

I was just thinking that a "Front lines Fuel of War" modification could be kind of neat.
What do y'all think?

I think Alien vs. predator would be extremely fun, alpha can be predator, and bravo could be alien gosteks.
Flags could be the baby aliens in the glass containers, basically predator trying to take all of them so they can't spread, while the alien protects them etc.
Or i've always wanted a Devil May Cry mod.
Have Dante's Ebony and Ivory duel pistols, guitar sword, machine guns etc etc.
Have bravo be demons.
Another good mod would be a full modified Killzone mod ;D
I know they already have the guns modified and everything, but I don't think anyone has made gosteks of the Helghast and the Marines.
And an awesome interface ;)

There are a few references to the predator movies in Soldat right? Sounds like a good idea.

Just keep in mind my skill sets, I'm not really known as a great alien/organic mod maker.
But this one is for you guys so its your decision in the end

I'm completely fine with Alien vs. Predator.
But if you need help with making alien/organic stuff, talk to Lord Ivahn, he seems like he knows what he's doing.
He did pretty great with making alien "looking" gosteks on Mecha Soldat 2.3 and also made some pretty creative futuristic weapons.

There already is pokemon mod though, and I don't think pokeballs will work as weapons. Anime mod (with actual guns) sounds like a great idea though. Anime characters always tend to have weird weapons.
Long ago I wanted to do a Trigun mod, but as it always happens with me, I lost interest. Trigun has some interesting guns though. I made Cross Punisher as replacement for steyr, but it's kinda misaligned because the weapon-gfx is too large. :S I've attached a rar with it.

Another suggestion would be Painkiller mod. It has some really interesting weapons and would make a great Soldat mod. Problem is - I cant seem to find any pictures of weapons (except screenshots).

I made an unreleased LSD-mod (that I should release when I get home again.. forgot about it again). Maybe try to do some "Harder-Drug-Name"-mod or one of the mods L[One]r suggested.

Do something that has never been done before, because to be honest I'm getting tired of all this zombie stuff.
I'd like to see something new, creative, funky!

Well I like the zombie mods, especially the last one you made.
But I don't like the idea of the "Left For Dead" style zombie game you're wanting to make.
I think it'd be interesting to make a zombie mod during an apocalypse.
like, "the world is coming to an end", few survivors, water is running scarce so the Earth is dry.
Survivors walking around with gas masks on, trench coats, etc etc.
Like that game Fallen Earth.

Modern War mods have been done, redone and overdone a thousand times. Same goes for historical mods and random sci-fi mods.
I agree that a mod should be done based on something that has never been done before. That's why I suggested Painkiller btw. It looks... modern-gothic'ish, which is rather original. How can electro-suriken gun and stake gun NOT be original? :O

It never hurts trying new things though. ;O
You can make yet another mod that is "your style", but it probably just won't be anything special since it's something you've done many times before.
Anyway, I voted for AvP mod, since it would look more original than anything else.

Yeah, that'd be pretty awesome.
You should have have each of the "hairstyles" of the gosteks to be like, different mask types.

Third Predators mod wont hurt (along with Mangled's and Padulo's).

Fallout 3 mod (yeah I'm in the middle of playing it)
All the custom weapons (railway rifle, dart gun, rock-it launcher, shishkebab) and other awesome ones (fat man ftw). There is a huge selection. (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_3_weapons)

Not if Matt uses the Pack-a-Punched weapon arsenal. :-/ Make sure you include ALL weapons that can be PaP'ed. you'd have to use an .exe file.

do it dude. i had the desire to make this one myself, but to be honest, the guns looked... defiled combat-ish. bad potential with that one. ;D I can supply info for the guns if you need. ;)

Due the the fact that l4d 2, and other, have been tied for almost the whole duration of the poll. I have decided that I am going to devote most of my time making a mod for my clan. and that's all I'm going to say, and that's all you are going to know, until the release date.
