 People wanted smaller maps so I tried my hand at making a small (4-8 people!) map. It's pretty no-frills, Fast-paced and capping a flag from either endzone will prove.. Difficult. :D

Looks nice from what I can see. Can't really comment about gameplay without testing it online, though. Maybe you should join the #soldat.mapping IRC channel on Quakenet? You can test your maps there with real players!

 I gave up on IRC years ago. All the hip kids moved on since. But that's just my opinion really, Besides my net sucks too much right now to play games online without severe lagspikes right now, Even small-net games like SOLDAT :P

Biggest complaints I can see so far is the flags being perhaps TOO close to the teamspawns, And perhaps the STAT gun placements.

 Some might think the STAT guns are too close to the endzones, But you can still get horribly murdered manning them, And the only way to shoot them at the flag hallways is by being a master aimer (Even 3-4 pixels off aim won't hit @#$%)

 Unless I'm looking at this mapsnap wrong, The guns ARE in one of the places mentioned already. XD I run at a really, Really HUGE resolution so that thumbnail's about 9 inches across on my screen here..

 At any rate, While I'm waiting on word of this map so far, I'm gonna be working a bit more on my Mod for this. XD Had an 8-bit METROID map in the work and thought, "Well heck why not do a interface/GOSTEK/Weapons mod to match?" So figured I'd do a RETR0ID mod.. Kinda an 8-bit 'Prime Hunters' with SOLDAT XD
