Maybe this should spent to Game improvements/suggestions, but didn't want to do a topic for it so: There is in default sceneries two water-named sceneries, and it changes from another to another. Another map what uses that scenery, should be searched and scenery's name changed.

Being lazy isn't reason to hijack this thread for your own reasons. I'm giving you a warning and moving this to its own thread.
-
Well, I just thought not to make own thread for such a small thing.

now you'll know to not do that =P
Also, your question is somehow hazy. What exactly are you trying to say? I have three different water textures and they all have different name and look different
-
I already deleted another one, but that has namesakes in default sceneries, and when using another one, it usually comes just wrong scenery.
-
I still dont get what youre trying to say - you screwed around with the default image files and now its not working properly, so Soldat needs to be fixed?
-
Eh, no. Problem is, that in default sceneries. Are two same-named sceneries. And usually. When you use that scenery I posted. It is usually that another same-named scenery, when you test your map where you used WATER scenery.
So. There are two same-named sceneries as default. water and WATER. Another map, what uses water or WATER scenery, should be searched. And scenery's name changed. Two last sentences are my opinion, how it should be dixed. I said this now very clearly. Got it? I ain't got time to bleed!
-
No, not clearly, but I do see what you mean now.
But then, why is it - by default - I only have one scenery graphic strictly named "WATER.BMP". All other files are completely in lowercase
Looks like you should learn not to add custom scenery with mismatching naming conventions.
-
understand what want you do I not
-
Well I haven't. I thought that it is default, because in PW I was using only default sceneries, and there was two of them. But maybe it is because Soldat.eat-this!'s mappack. When I downloaded it, everything went wrong. It replaced many default maps too, and I have now goddamn skies everywhere, what goes in front of gostex. Maybe there isn't that problem then.
But I show to you my suffer.

There is no possibility to. Have two files with. The same name and extension in one folder. NTFS doesn't allow it. Neither does FAT32.
So you either have two files with different names or different extensions (like bmp & png). Download Soldat-setup, install it somewhere and check which water-scenery is there.
My "Scenery-gfx"-folder contains (no idea which is default or modded):
- WATER.BMP (forget case-sensitivity)
- water_.bmp
- water2.bmp
And learn how to use punctuation.

Lol, I know how to use them, I said it thatlike just because anybody didn't understand me. Understood? ;)
-
I still have no idea what you are talking about nor what your problem is.
Tell us questions. With a question mark at the end of each sentence.
-
I thought that there are two same named water sceneries as default?
I said it here, because I thought it needs to be fixed?
It seems, that there is no two same-named water sceneries?
Well, I dunno I have, but reason might be soldat.eat-this's mappack I downloaded?
-
It's impossible to have two files with the exact same name in one folder.
-
There still was.. water and WATER
-
you have one water.png and one water.bmp and soldat will load the prioritize the water.png which is why the map looks strange.
-
Ok, that's what I thought too. I removed later that png scenery :)
