As far as I remember mm said in a blog post mm.soldat.pl (http://mm.soldat.pl) that is was not going to be free.

If you want to play LD RIGHT NOW you can pay whatever you want to play the ALPHA version.
If LD will be out once it will cost money.

Yup, that's true. I'm not asking for any fixed amount of $ just pay me whatever you can and you can go on and start fragging.

No. Buying Link-Dead alpha is not pre-ordering the full version. It is buying access to play the alpha. version for an undetermined amount of time. So all alpha versions (I can assure many of them, couple months at least) until the beta version is out which will have a different payment scheme.[/qoute]
