Title: Soldat meetup
Post by: Monsteri on May 29, 2011, 04:20:43 am
Okay, I know that there is another topic by almost excat same thing. Just thought that this could get more attention, if I'd make for it it's own topic.

I was thinking, if we could start the saturday-gamings again, but in Soldat official gather. This means, that we would be playing 1.5, not 1.5.1, since there are no servers for beta in it. I believe although, that they (servers) can be made into 1.5.1 too (jrgp?), so we could play it also. It's just somehow sad to see it always empty. And by using it, no one wouldn't need to make own server just because of the match, and we could also chat in there.

So, yes, I think that you all know the official gather. It would be 6pm GMT0 again, if we just get enough of players to come.

Soo?

Yes I can add 1.5.1 servers to the official web gather, but no one uses it :-/

Alternatively, I can write an IRC bot that mimics the official site so IRC people and web people can follow the same sets of gathers.

Yes, and the meaning of this thread was to put up the saturday matches again, with the idea that we could use the official gather.

Maybe change the topic of this thread. I (and maybe more people) thought that it's about Soldaters meeting in real-life. ;-)
