Okay. So, there's annoying thing that doesn't happen very often but it happens and it's weird. I'd like to see it fixed.
So, look at the picture. I wrote there my feelings.

I don't play realistic often, but I when I did - sometimes I noticed weirdness like this. I don't know whether it was just my imagination or whether player line of sight really works like how it's shown on the picture, but if it's really like that - it should be fixed. Not that it will make much of a difference overall.. :/

It would make a lot difference, after all while looking down you won't be seeing to your upper left as demonstrated in that picture.
Not a fan of realistic so it wouldn't make much difference to me though.

@TmTgr: Shoozza is away now, but it doesn't mean that nothing bigger cannot be done. So maybe you'll take some initiative with other developers and you'll fix it :)

The concept is interesting. I'm not exactly sure if I support this or not. But I wanted to bring up to discussion the viewing angle. As drawn, you have it at 180°; this doesn't need to be strictly at that angle. For reference, wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_eye#Field_of_view) says the human eye ranges from 75° down to 60° up. This doesn't need to be based off realism though.

I think we can keep with that 180°. I'm not feeling that people will enjoy cutting their view so much.

I agree. Too much less and I can see myself moving my cursor up-and-down while sitting still in a spot, giving me a headache. :P

We'll see final result while TmTgr do something about it. Maybe we'll even like it less than old solution with only 2 ranges xD
Btw. send me fixed version of Soldat. I wonder to test it (as I'm in that Soldat Beta Team :P).
