I set all my taunts up to say a bunch of ridiculous insipid things, and all of a sudden, alt-1 through alt-4 - still mapped to /smoke, /tabac, /takeoff and /victory - don't seem to work. This is especially perplexing because I have a few other commands mapped to 5 and onwards, and those work fine.
Not a huge concern, but my Soldat has a serious cigar habit and it's cramping his style.

Maybe it's because u edited taunts.txt while u should edit profile_name.txt?

Nah, isn't that. Good guess though.
I used this (http://soldatpage.u13.net/tools_tauntmaker.php) to make the file, but it doesn't appear to have messed up the syntax or added any meta data or whatever, so I can't imagine why --
oh. It did, actually. It left a space on the ends of those commands. I fixed that and they work now.
Wish I'd noticed that sooner! I feel moderately stupid.
