CTF map, this time a bit bigger. Flag is covered with OFC to prevent people from shotting it down, bridge is OPC. Ahoy <3

Nice atmosphere!

I also like that there are passages interconnecting the different routes. Pretty much always a good thing in terms of game-play.

I love middle part of this map, so much possibilities...

But sometimes its hard to grab flag using this patch:

I tried 4 times and only 2 times it grab this flag. But its nothing bad, maybe its just me :]

If you stick to the wall you should be able to grab it like this most of the time, tho sometimes it can be harder because of the flag spawn's randomness :\ I couldn't make the cage tighter because it would spawn the flag inside/outside of it and it would be buggy, so i guess it has to stay like this. Glad you like the layout :B

Viral's maps beautiful as always. Huh, so many years have passed since you inspired me with your first map. You still there bro, nothing changed, im just little bit older...

Nice to hear I inspired someone with my maps xB I'm pleased you still like my style after all these years <3 Now i have to work on the "gameplay" side, so wish me good luck ^^

That's one spooky map!

I'm looking to add some new maps added for the next version, and I hope this one gets vetted by the community as well.

Hey, sorry for the huge bump, but was wondering if anyone could maybe make a "mini" version of this? Slightly more fast paced map.
Looks really good, but I think it'd be too big for competitive matches (PS. Sorry for the huge bump).

Here you are. I have tried different dimensions, not sure what fits to your gamestyle. The smallest one might already be a bit buggy, but it's imho pretty fast paced.

Okay I was terribly wrong, these are too small. I guess the original one would be best to try out. I'll ask gather admins what they think about it. :)
Thanks for you work though mate! That was super quick. Is there an option to decrease maps size in the PolyWorks program?

Of course there's an option.
Just do CTRL+A or just select whole map with vertex selection tool(S button) - drag your mouse over the map. Then switch to Transform tool(A) and set X,Y% in the box. You need to have objects, scenery and polygons ticked in display menu so everything is visible and gets resized.
That's exactly what I did and I was joking a bit to be honest :D. It really gets small and polygons are less stable, few small edits might be needed. Viral did a good job actually and the outcome ain't bad. It's just not good for ctf tho but feels good enough for running, climbing :D.
Original version is fast paced enough in my view but you can always make the map smaller just by few % if you feel like.

I added some waypoints for the bots.
At least they are able to score... . :D

My face when i use PW for 8 years and still don't know how to make waypoints :d Well, thx for making my map bot friendly ^.-
