There are a lot of other 'clones' out there. I'm sure there was a topic on the forums about those.

Here's a flash game that follows the same general principle: http://www.jrgp.org/games/flash/play.php?g=gunrun

I've been looking for some but no game comes even close to what Soldat is which is just a bit odd considering how hugely popular Soldat used to be.
Teeworlds (https://www.teeworlds.com/) seemed interesting but wasn't really my type of a game.

I honestly hate teeworlds. It just isn't fun. Sure it's jump and run sidescroller shooter but grappling hooks? Cartoon graphics? fuck that

But it's the only game that comes even close to the dynamic gameplay of Soldat.

Gunz the first duel was pretty similar to Soldat. Although it was 3-D, it shared the same concepts in movement, aim, skill, and guns.
It had far more movement variations though, and skill/aim also played a big part. Only reason I added guns is because they both haven't been changed in years.
