Title: ESC should close other menus before opening the actual ESC menu
Post by: Dusty on March 03, 2016, 11:40:59 am: console, weapon menu, F1, weapon stats. the functionality can be a bit confusing at times, such as when you have the scoreboard open the new menu just pops on top of it. make it require two presses if you have something open ???

It's frustrating when I'm trying to find player ID with /cmd and F1 opened and then disabling both things is confusing :D

I don't want to press two times, I would rather have them on top of each other

Better to clean up the interface a bit.

For me when you hit esc when you have one of those window open it should close it AND open Esc menu. One click.

the initial press should close everything you have open

Ok, well it allready closes console and weapon menu. So the question is if F1 menu should be closed aswell?

it doesn't actually close the weapon menu, only hides it. if you have the weapon menu open, press ESC, press a number key (2-4) it actually both chooses the weapon and opens the sub menu.

yes. if you have nothing selected you'd only have the secondary weapon, otherwise the selection is the previous weapon you spawned with.
