Title: New sound engine?
Post by: soldat-game on April 04, 2016, 04:33:25 am
Add a new sound engine that reduces the very quality sound :( And add multi sound example
Reload_AK_1
Reload_AK_2
Reload_AK_3
All define in:
ModSounds.ini

[Ak-47]
Reload = Reload.wav
Reload = 2.wav
Shooting = Shoot1.wav
Shooting = Shoot2.wav

[Bullet]
ricochet = 1.wav
ricochet = ricochet22.wav
etc etc

You can add any value. And sound are selected through random possible.

We need to rewrite audio playback, but I don't think this is anything want to implement in the near term.
The whole modding situation cries for some consistency.

Having some pitch variation for gunshots as well as proper sound looping should be enough. I don't see how adding multiple sounds for reloads would be useful. Things that do need additional sounds (more ricochet or death sounds for example) could be implemented as default instead.

But let's say there is some kind of sound modding - it should be a part of "Mod.ini" that we already have, under [SOUND] section. That was the goal behind mod.ini - to combine all special customizable properties into one file, instead of having multiple .ini files in different folders.

This game has the potential and instead of giving you the opportunity to modding it with any version of this is becoming less.
After the fuck do you to write such sitting  a group as a group of leftists in the polish sejm,  He does nothing and can not leave. Skipping falcon and Shoozza but also sometimes they do not do anything you have to ask xxx times
