I made path 1 waypoints and the bots follow them perfectly, i just need to know... do bots follow Path 2 only after completing path 1? and if this is true that means i can create Path 2 waypoints that go through Path 1's course without effecting the bots movement, right?
-
In Teammatch, Deathmatch, Rambomatch, and Pointmatch bots would follow path 1 and ignore a second one. As I've understood it, in ctf and inf the bots first follow their own path to get to the flag (path 1=red, 2=blue) and then the other path to get back.
Hope that helps to clear things up.

So i cant create a path so that they go back through the tunnel in a loop? because they just go to the end of path 1 and stop, and if i make the loop go back it intercepts the other waypoints and buggers up...

Think beyond the normal! You would have to make it go in a circle..
Like this:

Now the bot walks to the right, then turns to the left, walks to the right.. for ever.
Note that you could remove the connection between the second most left and the leftmost waypoint to make it keep walking to the left on its return

That's a horrendous example. They would keep going left and right. :P The map is for DM, right? This is what you would do:

Because bots who spawn in DM are regularly for Path 1, that is why I had a waypoint from the eastern spawn connect to Path 2 (since it's heading left). Path 2 is not supposed to be elevated like that; that's just so you can see it better.
Ask away any questions you have about this diagram. :)

No the waypoints are for TDM, thanks guys i will try your ideas
-
TDM, TDM... I think the waypoints should be the same. Try connecting a Path 2 waypoint to a string of Path 1 waypoints and see if a Bravo bot who started on the trail maintains path 1 afterwards; that'll prove me wrong, and I'll change my suggestions likewise.
-
I connected a line of Path 1 to Path 2 and the bots follow path 2 as if it was apart of path 1
-
Yes, good. That is how they should behave; in all DM/PM/RM/TM maps, if you connect one Path to the other Path, they will stay on it. This handy technique not work in CTF, Inf., or HTF, however.

Thanks Keron Cyst, i think i will do more waypointing and get more experience.
