Title: Question and Future
Post by: 100% not blacksheepboy on September 22, 2016, 07:45:50 pm
Hey, what's up. I'm going to see if jrgp will reincarnate my old account so I can start mapping out of it again (not likely, but don't know).

Was curious -- I was mainly an inf mapper -- want to see more inf maps? Could make more. Gonna get some money next month to put away for a mouse.

Another question: Want to have old maps, like some CS maps waypointed? That was another thing I used to do. Could still do it. Some of the old maps were unresponsive with some wps though from what I remember. But whatever, maybe those are cleaned up with new versions of mapping programs or something.

If you're interested in remaking current INF maps with better visuals (or non-INF too, for that matter) - there's a high demand for that right now. Someone with waypointing skills would also be a big help. If you feel motivated to help - ask Monsteri, and/or check Soldat's IRC channel.

First, I guess they should define some things, like: Theres a normal mode and a realistic mode. So you have X game modes multiplied per 2.
Yes, this should be a huge point to start the next things on Soldat. You're working with 14 game modes and you have to look at all these directions. Looks worse than before, right?
The answer seems easy, but it is not.

My opinion: They should get back to the crib, picking CTF and DM, then making all the menu/hud stuff flawlessly. Releasing Soldat 2 and making a lot of noise. Then working with other game modes. Inf? Maybe, idk.

Create inf maps would be a good idea!  8)
