Well hello there - it has been a WHILE! I used to play in the Soldat seasonal championships about 10-12 years ago. My, have things changed. Back then I went by the name "Tribal" and had a good friend named Marbire, but he went by "Marb" for short ...(if any of you know him). I just installed this game again this morning and excited to see what has changed.
Are there any championships going on? How many people still play this game actively? Or, have most of the community members left? Whats the state of this game currently in?
Hope to hear back soon and see you on the battlefield!

Welcome back!
Soldat 1.7.0 was a big release with a better renderer which was a big thing.
There was a 1.7.1 release with weapon mod changes among other things.
Besides that there are plans for 1.8 but it got a bit silent recently.
You can find more news in the news section on the forums and the dev logs.
I'm not sure where you can find champoinships maybe the guys at http://www.sctfl.net can help.

Wow! Marbire is still around huh? Thats insane ...I'll have to say hi to him if I bump into him! The graphics look a lot better...love the touch up paint style.
