The question is simple.
In a survival game, should players who are dead only be able to commicate with other dead players?
This would prevent distracting text, and also "spies" (Dead players who tell the other player where the enemy is)...
Yes/No.
-
Simply Yes.
-
Definetly, I hate when players give away positions after they die..and this is a pretty simple fix.
-
Message sending to team only should be dissabled
edit: voted for "yes"
-
Absolutely. Ghosting ruins survival games. It doesn't seem like this would be difficult to implement and it would certainly improve survival matches. Perhaps it should be made a server-side option.
-
As soon as I saw this, yes.
Ruins the gaming experience soo much.
-
Absolutely! This is silly as it is.
-
Yes! Yes! Yes!
-
Yes yessity yes yes yes.
-
shit - i misread the poll and said no... take one away and add it to 'yes'!
-
I voted yes because I hate when some retard is spying >_< however I think there should be about 3 sec after you die where you can talk in the living ppls chat for that last "efc escaping up" or "incomming down" as U would in normal >.< (thats the only "spying") I do when I play Survival anyway..
-
I "spy" only to counter enemy "spying", so I said yes, It'd give the dead something to do, still, and the players still alive can get on with their game.

Yeah, I agree there should be a 3-5 s delay before a dead player is muted for alive players. There should be a time to say the last word.
-
OH MY GOD!!! the dead are talking to me!!!!!! WAAAAAAAH!!!!
Yes... ^^
-
But then the other team won't know that I'm urinating on their corpses :(
Serverside option.
-
this is very important, and I agree it should be a server-side option

I must say Yes !
